Having been to Mexico many times I can say the food is amazing. If you like spicy ask and be prepared to be blown away by the flavor and some of the best blended beans I have ever had (quality, taste, texture).
The owner is extremely friendly and apparently makes amazing margaritas per the other guests who kept ordering more.
They also went the extra mile to attempt to remake my food because it sat “for 3 minutes”. Impeccable quality and service/caring/pride for customer experience of the food.
Great stop.

Oh my word the food is so great! Gluten free options for everything except the burritos. I had a medium size enchilada with authentic delicious refried beans, guacamole, sour cream and fried rice for a great price! Portion sizes are great too. We have marked it as a favorite for next time we go through Sicamous. Can definitely recommend this little gem! We'll be back! 😊

We went tonight to La Catina. My husband had the burrito and said it was excellent. He also had two strawberry margaritas that were top notch.
I had the Quesadilla and it also was excellent. Thanks for the great food. We will be back

We just left dinner at this restaurant. We sat inside on a raining evening and all we can say is the place needs a good cleaning. There were webs in the corners, my chair seat was not fully secure, the men’s bathroom was atrocious according to my husband. After reading all the other reviews I have to wonder if sitting outside on a patio on a sunny day is the key? My husband’s tacos were basic and sitting in liquid so the corn tortillas ended up soggy. My burrito was excellent. So was my margarita however I would say all was over priced. You order at the counter, pay and they bring your food to the table….. in paper take out containers and a Margarita in a solo cup. The waitress dropped our two containers off and said nothing. We opened them to sort out who’s was who’s. Not going to suggest anyone goes.

Stopped in on our way through Sicamous. Excellent food…my husband said one of the best burritos he has probably ever had. Enchiladas were awesome as well! Definitely worth the stop!

This restaurant is incredible. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! The service and the food cannot be beat. We tried the enchiladas verde and roja and the flavours were out of this world. This food is authentic!! We loved their spacious outdoor patio - amazing lunch on a beautiful, sunny day in Sicamous. We ordered some to take home as well. Let’s support this amazing new local business! They deserve it.

Really loved this restaurant! So delicious and such friendly service. It is more authentic than I have had in Calgary. Would recommend anytime! Chicken tacos spicy were great.

Hell. Yes. Got talked out of eating here for dinner and was pretty disappointed. Went back for lunch the next day, got a large beef and a large Veggie burrito, and they were incredible. Will eat here every single time we come through Sicamous. Amazing, delicious, and Ivan was super friendly.
