We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing experience at the lounge, thanks especially to Satvik! He served us almost every day and made sure everything ran smoothly — really impressive how well he supervised the team too. The funniest part was seeing him at the front desk when we were checking out — the guy seems to work everywhere! Overall, the stay was excellent, and every staff member was super friendly and welcoming. Great hospitality all around!

We went for a fishing trip but the weather didn't cooperate. The pool was a welcoming option that filled our afternoon! Hotel staff was excellent and with great friendly service. Restaurant staff was friendly and we had excellent service. We were served with a generous amount of really tasty dishes. If it hadn't been raining we would have explored more of the grounds. It's a very peaceful, beautiful location.

We had an amazing overnight stay at the Lakeview Resort. The room itself was super clean, cozy, updated and had everything you needed. The view outside the window was quite nice as well. It was nice not to see cars.
The restaurant in the hotel was great! The food and drinks were good but the best part was the exceptional service from our waitress. Made the dinning experience just a little extra special. I want to especially highlight the Front Desk Attendant; José. He was absolutely amazing. As soon as we walked in, he greeted us with a smile and was just so kind and genuine. He was super knowledgeable of the area and gave us some ideas of places to visit while we were there. José made us instantly feel so comfortable as though you were being welcomed into someone’s home. For anyone looking for a staycation or travelling from afar, definitely worth a stay at the Lakeview Resort. Thank you to everyone there for hosting us!

I want to start by saying the staff and service at the resort was phenomenal, filled with incredible people who work hard and are extremely kind.
The hotel is extremely run down, the walls are damaged all over the place, doors in our rooms didn’t open properly, the family friendly pool is poorly maintained - the doors to the outside don’t close properly, so the cold air pours in keeping the pool extremely cold. We were looking forward to the first pool experience for our 8 month old but he didn’t last long in there as it was so cold. By noon, the hottub was still warming up, and unfortunately the hot water tank for the entire hotel broke the day we got there, and 3 days later we still had no hot water to shower or enjoy the nice soaker tub in the rooms, or to give our son a bath. The televisions in the rooms are very small, and very poor picture quality so they are hard to see from the beds. One day the cable was done for the entire day, when it came back we had about 4 channels you could see even remotely clearly.

The location, the scenery, and the food was lovely. We made the most of our first trip away as a family, but will definitely, without question, never go back.

Had high hopes for this vacation after having had such a great time here years ago. Oh how times have changed. The positives were the food at the restaurant was fantastic. However the main reason we came there for the thermal spa, to have a day of therapeutic hot/cold cycles. The hot tub and steam room were out of order and the cold plunge pool had been changed to a hot tub. No hot/cold cycles possible. The worst experience was in our room. While the washroom fixtures and linens were very clean, the floors were filthy. From walking around barefoot in the morning before putting socks on the bottoms of my feet were black. Even more troubling was learning that morning that our door wouldn’t latch. The door would open just from pushing on it. It was quite unsettling to discover we essentially slept in a room with the door open all night.

Staff were wonderful and the lobby was lovely with beautiful carved wood structures. The pools were nice but could use some serious upgrades - when we visited there was a flood in the spa area so the change rooms and showers were closed which was not a big deal to us. However, there are 4 pools, 2 of which were closed (the hot tub and the cold plunge), otherwise the two warm pools were nice and enjoyable! The sauna was also nice and the waterfall feature in the pool area added a fun touch. Another upside is the pools are 18+ only! Glad they allowed general public to visit!

The people that work at the property are very friendly and helpful. It is always a pleasure to see them! the hotel itself is clean but just a little tired! The rooms, hallways and pool areas could definitely use a refresh to bring them back to the glory days. Even though there was a power failure in the building for several hours, the staff kept as much as they could open and available in a safe and effective manner. The restaurant still provided a limited menu and were extremely attentive and helpful. It is always a pleasure staying at Hecla.

A lot of reviews almost discouraged my wife and I from booking. I feel lucky that I pushed to just go for it and book a few nights!
Shout out to Chad in the restaurant, though all the staff were very nice.

I think a lot of people just end up reviewing when they have something to complain about. Sure, there are little things that could be updated, but both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We were so happy to have this as our first vacation with our daughter. We all had a wonderful time! Rooms were fine, pool was a really nice time, trails right outside the door for hiking etc.
