Very nice and peaceful place, the office workers are very kind! Very clean place, love to spend my vacation there, this campground offers a verity of sites to stay at. Full hook ups and regular RV sites and we'll as tenting sites. I personally really enjoy their first come first serve sites. They also have 4 main bathrooms with clean free showers and 2 beach bathrooms. 2 different beach areas toenjoy and a beautiful long boat dock incase you need your boat with you.

We've been to Lakeview Park Campground for the last 3 years. The lake is clean and beautiful, and the campground has easy access to the beach. Unfortunately, the upkeep on amenities is lacking. The original bathrooms are run down and needing deep cleaning. The new bathroom additions are cleaner, however they are poorly done. Concrete floors that aren't sealed well make for unsanitary flooring. The stalls for both showers and toilets are very small- tall campers will have their knees touching the doors! No hooks in the showers, no mirror and no child change station makes this barely useful as an overflow bathroom at best. The room is large enough for these issues to be fixed.
The campground is also very, very dusty from dirt/sand as the main road is not paved and mostly dirt sand and not gravel.

Enjoyed our time. Pros :Things we loved included swimming ( no bacteria warning) friendly staff , fairly nice camping spots depending where you booked your site.
Cons: dust & then more dust. Can they not spray environmentally safe solution over the roads at start of season then as needed like other provinces do. Wow your camper or tent is covered in dust when you leave.
Bathrooms, were great but only one location. If you are located up the hill there are no bathrooms near 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, & 34. Even porta potties would help.
Lastly for people not use to the hills this is an incline & decline campground.
Otherwise beautiful views & trees 🌳 😍

Pros

Beautiful, clean, quiet and private in the Lettered Campsites, the beach is so nice and has a shaded area with picnic tables and a small playground for young kids. Bathrooms are clean.

Cons

No signs to the garbage area, bathrooms or to the Lettered Campsites. We relied completely on the map they provide on their website until we got used to all the trails.

No place to clean your dishes.

Some campsites are smaller - not sure they would fit a larger tent like ours. Our 8-person tent just fit on Campsite S, where we stayed.

Numbered Campsites seemed too close to each other, not much privacy and a gives a crowded vibe.

Only two stalls of toilet and shower in the bathroom. There often was a line to use the facilities, which are definitely not enough for the number of campers there were.

Bathrooms are located in a corner of the campground, meaning some campsites are right next to them but others (most of them) are at the opposite end and we had to walk the entire campground to get to them.

Not a flat walk. It's rough terrain, with very steep hills that are bad enough for a young person carrying nothing, let alone older campers, pregnant people, parents with young children on their arms, someone who hurt a toe and is limping or the obvious going back and forth to the parking lot to leave the food in the car and bring it back in the morning. This was one of the main inconveniences of all: the long distances full of steep, slippery hills. Disclaimer: they do inform beforehand that "The campsite may prove challenging for persons with physical challenges, disabilities or mobility problems" I thought they meant the elderly, or people who use a walker or wheelchair. But this is true for anyone really. Ideally this is for people in their best shapes and no babies or toddlers to carry. Can't stress this enough.

We also had a situation, a loud siren went off around 2-3am. Most people woke up, got off their tents in the dark, trying to figure out what was going on, what alert that was. We were never told what that siren was about.
Still, we had lots of fun, not particularly because of the campsite, but because we were with our family and friends. Overall not the worst experience.

Campingplatz direkt am See. Stellplätze groß und mit Picknickbereich, sowie Elektrizität und Wasseranschluss.
Sanitäranlagen sauber. Duschen 1$ für 5 Minuten. Personal sehr freundlich.

A great campsite, lots of trees and fairly big sites. Lake access, nice beach, good fishing. Well looked after, close to town. Only complaint was people partying as late as 1am. Please enforce quiet hours. Wifi spotty. Will return.
