A friend & I went to this park after visiting the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens. It was such a beautiful place to take a walk by the Lake! There was a great playground for the kids as well ... and a museum and lighthouse! The weather was perfect that day (May 26) and for a Sunday, it was not crowded at all. Lots of parking and places to sit. The grounds were clean and well-kept. We loved it there! A perfect way to spend the day! 😊👍💗

This park is along Lake Ontario. We went during the week and the sand on the beach was raked and clean. This park has a huge playground for kids with 2 zip lines and a splash pad. There is also 2 other playground areas in the park. There's lots of benches, picnic tables, garbage cans, scooters and bikes you can rent. And a few trails where you can ride your bikes or scooters on. There is also lots of free parking and the Oshawa museum is in the park. The restaurant called The Jube is in the park as well as a chip truck selling fries and burgers. This park is very clean. We didn't see any garbage lying around. It's a good park for the whole family.

A decent park with a playground, historical building and a beach with a cement factory as a backdrop.
Can have Limited parking depending upon the weather.
Good for picnics and for the kids.
Seasonal restaurant on site.

I love going almost daily during the warmer months. I love everything about it, the kids having the times of their lives, the beach is amazing, I love relaxing on the pier, and every time I go, I always make sure to go to the restaurant for some drinks and food, but even the times I'm low on money, I still make a point of at least saying hi to everyone who works there.

Great place to go for a walk bike ride, or just enjoy so time parked by the beach.
Well taken care of and you can see the ships coming in to the refinery next store.
We love it here.

On a very hot summer day, nothing is better than sitting near the water in a shade in a lake breeze. A lot of parking spaces, clean washrooms, a busy place especially in the weekends. Some sections of the beach were badly polluted. The facilities to the east are really out of harmony.

First time we visit this park and it is just awesome. It has one of the best playgrounds we have visited. My son loved it and it is big enough to accommodate a lot of kids. It is stroller friendly in case you want to have a walk. Plenty of space for picnic and a lot of tables and seating areas. Public bathrooms are decently maintained and plenty of parking space available.

Beautiful park with a nice beach, kids playgrounds and water splash. There are a few trails here as well.
This park is really busy on weekends.
