Good price, bed and bath clean, things like fan and wall corners were dirty, but could be overlooked for the value, no AC but was not hot, great location. No coffee in morning, visited the lodge 1 minute south, they had great coffee and apple fritters

We were just stopping by for dinner and we were welcomed by this really friendly man and his dog. He turned out to be one of the owners. He kept thanking us for our business and that if we needed anything else to just call him. One of my friends has a milk allergy so he couldn't have the nachos but he asked anyways if it was possible to use his vegan cheese instead and they happily agreed. They were all so friendly and patient with us. Best customer service we've had.

We've gone here several times over the years. The food was always good, though the prices seemed a littl high. The owner was friendly. One time during covid we arrived late as he was about to close, but he still accomodated us, setting up a table outside. It's too bad that I think it might be closed now. We tried to go for dinner last week, but we called many times and there was no answer, and when we stopped in we could find no people.

If you are looking for great large portions of homemade food, excellent service, delicious desserts, and a nice atmosphere, come to this restaurant. We were pleasantly greeted by the owner, and despite being packed, quickly found us a great table to sit at. We enjoyed it so much, it’s our second visit here this trip. It’s a little hidden gem on the side of hwy 17 just past Batchewana Bay! Ideal for campers at nearby Pancake Bay or if you would just like a night out! Patio and indoor dining available.

Owners were very receptive of our late arrival..got a room & was so chilled...owners kept restsurant open to serve me some soup...the best cream of brocolli soup ever!!!

We were getting worried...had no reservation & started out from Thunder Bay heading south...ran into no vacancies all along the TransCanada...don't know if it was because of 2020 Covid19-not using all rooms & lack of staff or late season travelers or lots of road construction crews from White River down past Wawa & some Hydro crews..but we stopped at all motels, resorts & hotels to find NOTHING.....we got a good rest, room was pleasant.
