pauvres petits français,je reviens du circuit francophone"odyssé arctique" dommage que la guide "jude"trouve impossible de faire le circuit en 2 langues elle nous a donc ignorés.Heureusement que Florence a eu la gentillesse de venir avec nous pour traduire(jeune femme trés agreable et compétente).C'est quand même insupportable d'être traité comme ça vu le prix (on n'a pas acheté ce voyage en solde)Attention aux prochaints voyageurs français

We joined lazy Bear for their summer bears and belugas program, spending 4 nights in Churchill MB in search of wildlife. While conditions in the lodge were a bit rustic, with sometimes elusive hot water if everyone was on the same schedule, we nonetheless felt well cared for by the SUPERB staff. (Special shout outs to servers Ben, Hunter and Elysia as well as ACE guide and all around good guy Deacon, and Mariia at the front desk; plus the fantastic kitchen staff that kept us all well fed).

We had a wonderful time on excursions to view polar bears and beluga whales with the propriety AquaGlide with Belugas being the highlight. The program includes a variety of activities but there was still time to explore the quaint town of Churchill.

Expect small rustic rooms in the lodge with very limited space to spread out or even unpack. Yet despite these small annoyances, this truly is a must do activity.

I can't say enough about this friendly, rustic, incredible adventure package. Our expectations have been greatly met! All the staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. A special nod to Deacon and Adrian. These two are the best guides you could ask for. Knowledgeable, passionate, and so much fun! They know what they are doing and share it with you. We have such a love for Churchill because of our experiences at Lazy Bear Lodge. Food is plentiful and yummy. Staff are so kind and helpful. Strongly recommend this for your northern adventure 💕

We visited the lodge to see the beluga whales. And what an experience!! Lodge was comfy and cozy, food was insane delicious (shout out to the servers Alicia and Ben!), staff sooo friendly and helpful especially Mackey and Julian at the front desk. Our guides Tobi and Griffin knew everything and more about anything to do with Churchill, whales, polar bears, and history. And just so nice! We can’t compliment the lodge and staff more. Only downfall were the mosquitos!

We loved staying here! Alex was amazing! We had him for all of our tours and think he is just the best! He gave us a lot of information. My boyfriend Bobby didn't fit into the wet suits since he is a bigger guy so he just went for a ride-along for kayaking and aqua gliding with Alex. They had a great time talking and Bobby still loved his time on the water! We also loved our server Sage! She got all of our orders right and was very attentive. The restaurantant is pretty expensive but we liked everything we had. Since we stayed at the hotel the morning chef always told me what I could and could not eat and then gave me some gluten-free bread for breakfast! We also met Faith on the train ride up and she is now working in house keeping and killing it! We hope we can come back againn The beluga whales and polar bears are absolutely amazing! Thank you Lazy Bear!

Had the most amazing time in Churchill this last week. We stayed and toured with the Lazy Bear and had a fabulous time. Got to see so many belugas on the zodiac boat and kayaking and even a polar bear. If your planning a trip to Churchill I definitely recommend the Lazy Bear. It's a beautiful place to stay, the restaurant is fantastic and the tour guides were amazing. Thank you so much for making our trip to Churchill memorable 💗

We had such a great time staying at the Lodge and seeing some of the sights of Churchill. Thank you Wally, Dawn and Lazy Bear family for being so hospitable. And our guides Deacon (Wally’s son), Adrian, and Alex for being awesome! The sleeping arrangements were clean and comfortable and the food was incredible! One of the best experiences of our lives and a memory for many years to come!

Beluga water gliding was a money grab, totally not worth the price, only 18 min on water without taking turns, the pilot was inexperienced and got us trapped in the rapids most of the time with murky water and poor visibility. The wetsuit smelled terrible and hygiene was questionable. We had to throw away all our clothes after the tour because it smelled that bad! There was no shower either. Everything was in a hurry and all they care is to put as many people as possible on the boat and get their money as quickly as possible. Worst experience we had in Churchill so far for over a week. Will never recommend Lazy Bear to anyone.
Save your money, bring your own paddle board and wetsuit to watch the belugas.
