I used to love going to this place; NOT ANY MORE!!! the new owner seems to have serious distain for her clientele.
The business hours are absolutely ridiculous for a bar especially. Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2pm to 8pm THAT'S IT!!! They no longer offer off sales, The beer I did have was room temperature and cost more than it used to. I was the sole customer in the place and wasn't waited on and instead expected to go up to the bar if I wanted another warm drink. I didn't even see any familiar faces at the machines and I was made to feel exceptionally unwelcome as if me being there was somehow an annoyance to her. Such a shame because the Leland was like our own little Ponoka version of Cheers. I JUST CAN'T WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT🤨.

This is your typical hometown local bars. I love it here. The bartenders and barmaids are fantastic. Down to earth and fun. The locals are friendly. It is a very warm and inviting place to go. There is entertainment on a regular basis. They have a good stage area for local bands to perform. Karaoke is a favorite there as well. The drinks are cheap. Downfall is there is no food there, other than potato chips and beef jerky. However this place is right downtown and surrounded by restaurants and places to eat that are not that far off. It`s a cheap place to staff if you are going to make a night out of it and don`t want to drive home. You are can also entertain yourself by playing the VLTs or watching the game or one of their multiple TV screens. Enjoy the staff and the patrons of this bar. This is the other top three of my favorite watering holes.

Do not even bother staying here, This place is sinking slowly, the owners are manipulative when they want their money. I cant believe that they keep harassing me, the female owner Abby has been the rudest landlord I have ever heard or seen, the showers are rotted, on one side there is only rooms with shared bathrooms, she gave me a hell of a hard time. There is crazy people in the bar and extremely loud... avoid

Went there after the stampede, staff were great and they do off sales so when the liquor stores close you can still get a case of beer! Two thumbs up from this guy!

A reminder of yesteryear, warm friendly owners; if your family had history on the prairies they may have stopped by the Leland. Kinda cool.

We had prompt service, and enjoyed the visit. The small town atmosphere is very relaxing and laughter was awesome !!
