Me and the family was in the area and stopped at the train for picnic on the beautiful benches, was very informative to read about the trains that operated in Newfoundland, and all the challenges that cane with all the weather aka snow.
The walking trail is beautiful and clean, not even so maybe not suitable for older people that struggle to walk. Mostly next to the river, and was nice and cool in the shaded area. We visited 8 August, and was a warm day in the area.
Wont go back but was a nice experience.

Beautiful train and fairy door trail.
Not able to enter the trains, but still a nice spot to visit and a beautiful walk along the fairy door trail!

Trail is still under construction, but is very scenic with a terrific section of boardwalk.

Simple but awesome. The picture are almost completely faded, but closely you can still see some details.

There's not much excitement here for adults but the kids love it. It's works perfectly as a rest stop for families on long highway trips. We've stopped here four or five times and the kids still love to climb on the trains. If you have a dog you can take them down the walking trail which runs next some water and is quite nice.

Fun way to learn about the history of the railroad. The train is fun to explore and take pictures of.

The area could do with a little bit more maintenance, but overall it is a memorable experience and we have visited this place multiple times over the years.
