Superbe endroit avec une belle terrasse. Les vins sont biens, sans plus. Prévoyez quelques (plusieurs) heures si vous souhaitez déguster les vins et grignoter sur la terrasse. Le personnel gagnerait à connaître leurs produits… une chance, nous avons été accueillis par quelqu’un de sympathique (Sean).

Vignoble très grand qui a perdu le service à la clientèle. On est arrivés pour l’accueil (on en repassera) et nous nous sommes préparés pour la dégustation et l’autobus est arrivé et là nous avons été mis à l’écart. Impératif économique oblige donc on a jamais dégusté audit vin.
Pouvant comprendre la situation et donnant la chance au coureur, les enjeux post-pendémiques, personnels, etc. nous sommes repassés plus tard. Le constat fût brutal;
car vraiment c’est un problème structurel, nous avons pu enfin goûter à vos vins, mais le goût de l’accueil a rendu vos vins plus amer. Nous aurions aimés un contact plus humain et non de se penser encore en pandémie 😷

Un vignoble qui produit des vins issus d'une culture biologique et bio dynamique, avec des cépages européens. Leur Riesling est bien balancé. Leur chardonnay est étonnant. Le site vient s'ouvrir et est d'une très belle architecture. Derrière le grand foyer extérieur, on fait cuire des pizzas. Le site est merveilleux et le vin vaut le détour.

Come for the wine, but stay for the food! My wife and I have had a blast with their wine and tours, but we’ve never tried their food. We heard about their mouthwatering fried chicken on the Friday menu, so we decided to give it a shot. Once you get past the gorgeous atmosphere and the amazing wine choices, you realize the food is absolutely incredible! I’d say it’s the best fried chicken we’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about their wines and food menu. We didn’t feel rushed, and the food came at a nice pace. The prices were reasonable for the quality of their wines and food.

We would highly recommend this place for their food. If you’re in the area doing wine tours, make sure this is on your list of wineries to visit.

We decided to try here for our wedding anniversary. It was perfect and our boys said they had a lot of fun as well. Right away the staff had crayons and pictures for them to colour. The food and wine was excellent, and so were our servers!

Our late-October 2024 wedding at Lightfoot and Wolfville was absolute perfection and a dream come true. As you can see from the photos (courtesy of Cooked Photography), the setting was beautiful with golden vineyards and a breathtaking wooden building. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect backdrop for our photos and the entire day.

We want to give a huge shoutout to Kori, who worked with us every step of the way to make sure we got exactly what we envisioned. Although we were not obligated to use it, her helpful guide for choosing our other vendors (e.g., photographer, live music/DJ, taxi services, officiant, florist) helped us better make those big decisions and saved us loads of time trying to figure out who to choose. Kori was extremely responsive to emails and answering all our (mostly my) questions so we knew exactly what was included and what else we needed.

Kori and the entire team at Lightfoot exceeded our expectations on the day of as well. They were calm, professional, personable with the guests, and, overall, added to the whole experience. Although we had a lot of plans and the parents/wedding party were as prepared as they could be, Kori worked all day to make sure everyone had what they needed and stepped in when people were confused/overwhelmed (without being asked). Our other vendors were ready to go (having worked at Lightfoot and Wolfville before), but Kori was there to welcome them and provide assistance where needed, which was another thing we didn't have to think about with everything else going on.

Getting ready during the day was seamless and there were people around to get us whatever we needed (e.g., water, other refreshments, food). We had lots of space in the Bridal suite (Tidal Loft) and were able to take some great photos out on the large balcony while getting ready. The groomsmen also had their own space (The Study) with plenty of room for them to get ready and spend some time together.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with a smile and a welcome drink. The ceremony itself was made so much more beautiful by the fireplace backdrop overlooking the golden vineyards and Bay of Fundy. The signature drink and canapés at the cocktail reception were delicious and a highlight for all of our guests.

Following the cocktail reception, we had dinner down in the Barrel Cellar, which had the perfect ambiance and amazing food. Although I was initially a little worried about space in the Barrel Cellar with some of our older guests, this was absolutely not a problem in the end. We were able to comfortably do speeches during dinner and had lots of room to move around and talk to guests at all of the different tables even while servers were working. Our guests still can't get over how amazing the food and drinks were, and they were especially pleased with the portion sizes which were needed with people consuming alcohol throughout the evening.

The fact that there were washrooms on every floor and other accessible options (e.g., room to move around, large doorways) was also appreciated by our guests. Our planned out space for the evening dance was perfect for the number of guests we had (i.e., 75), and people had room to have fun and get drinks when they wanted. There is plenty of space too for a larger guest count, but we were able to keep some benches and other seating out so that the space worked with the guest count that we had. A BIG shoutout to Kevin for being a fantastic and personable bartender for the whole event too. At the end of the night, guests were easily able to grab their coats and a taxi and the venue staff did a great job helping with this.

Overall, every single vendor we spoke with knew of Lightfoot and Wolfville's reputation for weddings and were thrilled to work with us on our wedding. A big part of this is likely that they know how fantastic Kori and the team are to work with and what a beautiful spot it is for a wedding. We’re so grateful to the entire team at Lightfoot and Wolfville and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous spot for their wedding.
