Accueil froid, on avait l'impression de déranger. Dans la chambre #4, il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude. Nous nous sommes lavés à l'eau glaciale, pour se faire dire, le lendemain par la propriétaire, qu'elle le savait, que ce n'était pas la première fois que ça arrivait. Elle a mis ça sur le fait que c'est une vieille maison. 170$ la nuit...trop cher, sans déjeuner... Décevant!

Nettes kleines Hotel mitten im Nirgendwo. Sehr nette und aufgestellte Gastgeberin. Gutes Essen, echte Hausmannskost, gutes Frühstück. |Das Zimmer im Log Inn gross. Die Matratzen hart. |Schade dass die Verbindungsbrūcke zum Haupthaus nicht repariert wurde.|Die Gaststuben wie zu Grossmutters Zeiten, etwas zu ūberladen mit diversen Dekos. |Anscheinend steht es zum Verkauf.

Arrived at 5 pm knowing there would be no meal service available. The door was left open and a note left for us. Many portions of the main floor were locked off so had no access to ice, tea, cups, etc. Odd to arrive with no greeting, understand that always being available can be demanding but would have appreciated an email or text. Would have also appreciated ice, cups, kettle etc available for our evening. Our bed was fine but friends room had separate beds, despite request for a queen. Their beds had metal bars as described in other reviews! Showers but very small and dated. | In frustration I called Karen who agreed to drive back to work and get us ice and a kettle. Appreciated but felt badly to make the call. Breakfast was very nice ($16.50). Part of what we love about travel is the conversation with locals, missed that and other guests were in a separate building.

My Husband and I had a wonderful experience at Little Shamogue Inn. We stayed at Log Point in room 7 and had a view of the water. After our delicious 4 course dinner made by Karen we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset by the water.|Karen is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The inn is very clean and comfortable and would highly recommend it!

The Inn is located in a remote location far away from any amenities. We were not greeted by any host and given a room with three single beds that were very uncomfortable. We got in late and unfortunately had no kettle or toaster to make ourselves a tea. The inn was closed off to any access for extras. Unfortunately you had to pay for a breakfast which we thought was outrageous considering how much money we had to pay for one night stay. It’s a very outdated in. Bathrooms are very outdated. This is definitely a two star inn. I know that it is up for sale and therefore little effort is made to provide great service. Big disappointment.

While on our road trip we stayed here for two nights to give us easy access to PEl for a day trip. We were considerably early yet were welcomed by Marko and his beautiful dog Tundra with big smiles and enthusiasm. We were in Log Point, the detached accommodation, Marko had upgraded us as he had availability and we had the entire house to ourselves. The room was beautifully presented and very comfortable with a seating area, king bed (super comfy) & a large bathroom with a jet tub and two sinks.|Downstairs is a communal lounge with large windows that overlook the water, the most beautiful view. We slept well and joined Marko for breakfast at the main house. The breakfast is freshly cooked to your requirements, was plenty & at $15.50 per person was also reasonable. The restaurant was closed when we were there and Marko had kindly advised us of this beforehand so each day we would plan to eat out before returning, as we were there to explore the area this was not an issue.|Marko is super friendly, knowledgable and passionate about the area, he js always willing to offer advice on where to go/ eat/ see etc.|Tundra was a delight and seeing her friendly face each morning was delightful.|Thank you Marko and Tundra for a lovely, albeit brief, visit and we hope to see you again.
