The service is exceptional. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Room was nice but walls were a bit thin. Overall a great experience.

This place was absolutely wonderful. What an undiscovered gem! I was almost hesitant to write this review, lest the secret get out. If only I could award more than five stars.

We loved everything about Lodge and Lantern. The place is just great. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The rooms are large enough. The common area was wonderful with comfly Leather lounge. In Winter the Fireplace would be sublime.

The Lodge and Lantern welcomed us with friendly faces and hellos. I did the online pre-check-in and got sent a text a few hours before the check-in time that our room was ready for us early. We loved the log cabin with a family feel. Other highlights include its natural wood fireplace and private location. We enjoyed a walk along the river a short distance to visit the shops and restaurants downtown. Instead of eating out (because we have a dog) we ordered takeout from a local restaurant and enjoyed it in the cozy lobby by the fire and large windows.

They have dog friendly rooms and have a large grassy area out front and a semi fenced area out back. Edison enjoyed having a convenient area to play fetch in and sniff around.
