Unfortunately, the whales must have been shy that day, but it was still a lovely tour on the ocean! We did get to see seals - Harbour seals and gray seals! The crew were friendly and fun, and the scenery was incredible. Will try to see whales again if I ever get the chance!

Awesome experience, the crew was amazing, kept us entertained with a lot of commentary and quickly made everyone (strangers) feel comfortable with each other. We were with a great group of people, parents making sure that the kids got a front row seat to see the whales.

Although it was a foggy day, this crew found all the action.

We were a walk-up, glad we got a spot.

We were so focused on spotting whales that I didn’t even take the time to take photos, just living in the moment with the fam.

Highly recommend, and don’t forget to leave a tip for the crew.

Lunenburg is an absolutely beautiful place and a must-visit! As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it boasts stunning, historic streets and buildings that are over 150 years old, providing a charming glimpse into the past. The seafood here is incredible – I had some of the best fish and chips I've ever tasted.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy. The maritime museum is fascinating, and you can even book tickets for whale watching, which is a thrilling experience. For a unique tour of the city, take a ride in one of the old-style horse-drawn vehicles – it’s like stepping back in time.
Lunenburg is full of history, culture, and delicious food, making it a perfect destination for anyone looking to explore a picturesque and vibrant town.

Nice weather day to be on the water. However I do not think this company should be advertising this trip as whale watching out of season. They know full well that there are no whales at this time of year due to the number of lobster lines in the water (whales tend to avoid the area until end of lobster season) and the fact there is no food for them here until June. This is what the guide told us on the trip. Be aware that they may insist that you pay cash in advance. It’s expensive for what it is and it may not be the best place for whale watching anyway - even in high season. Before considering this tour I suggest you do your own research about the best locations and companies, and have a thorough look at the reviews on here and trip advisor. This trip I do not recommend.

They should be more honest and not take boat loads out to see whales during the low chance season. The ticket seller couldn’t tell me when the last whale sighting was, and only said “we can’t predict nature”. Basically this is either a sightseeing, historical boat cruise with a chance of seeing a whale, but no whale talk. Def would not recommend.

It’s was great experience we saw pilot whale and lots of seals. Saw a shark attacking the seal, and a large whale spraying. Great 3 hour trip.

No whales to see but you should never go on these tours expecting to see wildlife - they are on their own mission. BUT the ride was fantastic. The captain toured us though some very scenic areas including The Ovens caves and some cool spots where the locals surf. Shipmate Ty did his best to entertain and provide relevant local information and history. I just loved being on the water. Don't forget the sunscreen. Expect to be gone 2.5 ro 3hrs in good weather.
