We recently visited beautiful Breir Island and booked a whale watching tour with Mariner Cruises Whale and Seabird Tours — what an amazing experience..! From start to finish, the team was professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do.

A special shoutout to our guide Amy, who was absolutely fantastic. She made the experience not only exciting but also educational.

We were lucky enough to witness some breathtaking moments out on the water. The crew’s dedication to safety and comfort made the entire tour feel relaxed and enjoyable.

We had an unforgettable experience with Mariner Cruises on Brier Island! The crew was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about marine life. We spotted several humpback whales up close and even saw a few dolphins skimming the waves. The commentary made the trip both educational and fun. The boat was comfortable, and the views of the Bay of Fundy were stunning. If you're in Nova Scotia, this tour is a must—truly a magical day on the water.

Amazing crew! Friendly, knowledgeable. I love how excited they get finding the whales as everyone else. This was my first time and was amazing! Price was exceptional for a 3.5 hr tour. Saw two humpback whales together and two more at a distance. If coming from Halifax would recommend a stay in Digby to break up the day. Was also were able to drive around the Island. I came with a friend who has used this group 5 times already. If you want to do whale watching, definitely choose Mariner Cruises! Make sure to dress in layers or come prepared as it got cold. Mini mitts would have been great to have!
They allowed lots of time to watch and take pictures once we came across whales. They pointed out bald eagles and other birds.
Would highly recommend if coming to Nova Scotia to drive out to Brier Island and join this group.

Ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Die Crew ist unfassbar herzlich und selbst total euphorisch. Man erfährt viel über die Tiere. Man merkt, dass die Wale und ihr Lebensraum respektiert und geachtet werden. I took my girls on a very foggy day so I wasn't optimistic. Even through the fog they managed to find a couple hump backs and some various birds. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. It was a great experience!

My 2 daughters and I had a marvelous time. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. We came
7-19-25. The guide did a marvelous job explaining about the whales. They worked hard to ensure we saw whales. It was comfortable, hard seats but plenty of room. Booking the trip was easy and the lady was very helpful. I called several times with questions about the tour and she was always pleasant. You will enjoy it.
