Nous sommes à notre première visite dans le coin du lac huron et nous voulions être entre les plages et les pistes cyclable. Cet hotel est vieux mais très propre et le staff est très serviable. On s'entend, ce n'est pas un 5 étoiles mais pour dormir et être proche de tout, c'est parfait. Nous avons le lit king et il est tres confortable et la literie est propre. Pour un in and out, c'est l'idéal!

Where else would you get a Saturday night stay in the height of ski season for $150?
Yes the place is dated, but the room was clean, staff friendly, the shower hot. The 5 stars are based on the price point.
One thing I liked was the parking very close to the rooms, super convenient.
I do recommend that the property do a better job of clearing snow and salting.

One Night of Regret: A Stay to Forget
My recent one-night stay at Mariner Motor Hotel was, to put it mildly, a disaster. From the moment I stepped into the room, a musty, unpleasant odor assaulted my senses. It was a strange, lingering smell that I couldn't quite place, but it permeated everything.
The room itself was in a state of alarming disrepair. The furniture looked like it had survived a minor earthquake and been hastily patched back together with what appeared to be copious amounts of clear cellophane tape. It was clear that basic maintenance was not a priority here.
Adding insult to it, there were no towels in the bathroom. After a long day of travel, this was incredibly frustrating. I tried calling the reception desk multiple times, but my calls went unanswered. I let the phone ring for minutes on end, but nobody picked up. Eventually, I had to walk to the front desk, where I found the no receptionist.
The final straw came when I checked my bank statement. I discovered an unauthorized charge from the motel, significantly more than the agreed-upon price. I had not authorized any additional charges, and when I attempted to call the motel to inquire about it, once again, no one answered.
In summary, my experience at this motel was appalling. The smelly room, broken furniture, lack of basic amenities like towels, unresponsive staff, and unauthorized charges made for a truly miserable stay. I strongly advise anyone considering this motel to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and find a place that values basic cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

Bedsheets look not washed at all with dirt and hair on it. Outdated rooms. Central heat was set to 72, but the room was 66
if you ask they can give you heater or increase the central heat.
Better than sleep on the car.
80 cash + tax. Don’t pay more.

The hotel is old, dated, but clean and the beds are super comfortable. The carpets are in good shape and the sheets looks new. The owner was really nice and chill. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Have stayed a couple times but not for a while. FLW came up in a conversation so here I am. I love this place and sadly not many places exist like this exist these days. Hope to come back soon.

Really bad experience.

Paid over 300 a night for a room, the least I expected was the wifi to work. And I was wrong. The connection was so bad that I had to leave the hotel and work from home library. The TV remote also did not work very well.

I don’t recommend this place at all.

This is the worst place on earth. It looked dirty, weird people and I have never experienced such a bad service in my life. Since we arrived, the guy at the entrance didn’t want to help us with a problem with the reserve and started insulting us by saying that our english was poor while having the thickest accent ever, he also insulted us with mexican insults when he heard us speaking spanish.
