I had an amazing stay at this hotel! It looked exactly like the photos: beautiful, clean, and modern. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, with a nice scent throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved that it was pet-friendly. The service was fantastic, with friendly and helpful staff who made the experience even better. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Spent the weekend here. Comfy beds, awesome views, the owners are great and accommodating. had an awesome time snowmobiling in the backwoods and would highly recommend staying here if your in the area. We will definitely be returning! Their dog Duke is a beauty

Small mom and pop motel with super nice personable owners and their |‘LITTLE’ dog too. So friendly. Rooms were clean and fresh, beds were amazing! I would 100 percent recommend!! I would suggest bringing slippers as the floor was freezing, but I bet it’s lovely in the summer when it’s hot out.

A quiet spot with clean, tidy rooms and comfortable beds. It's set up so that you don't have to talk to anyone, from start to finish.
My only issue with the rooms was that there were no accessible power outlets anywhere near the beds, so to charge our phones overnight we had to leave them on the other side of the room on the floor. Even a simple power bar from behind the beds would be sufficient.
The attached restaurant looked nice, but we didn't get a chance to try it, since it's apparently only open Thursday to Sunday.

IT'S OPEN IN THE WINTER
Not sure who needed to hear that.
If you are on an adventure through Ontario, grab what you need in Sault Ste Marie, and take the 20 minute drive to stay here, the peace of mind this place can provide is enough to charge a premium for the security you feel from its location, as well as the hospitality and candor you receive from the caretakers of this motel.
The room itself is well loved even for the age of the building, and you can feel it in the small details.
Fan, fridge, TV, wifi, pet friendly, and good water pressure for the showers, Keurig in the room.

Such a cute motel!!! We loved it here, and will definitely return if we’re in this area of Ontario again.
The rooms were very clean and nice. The only negative point was there was no fan in the bathroom and the bathroom window wouldn’t stay open, and the mini fridge either wasn’t working or was turned off because it was warm inside when we arrived.
The owners(?) working were super nice and accommodating as well. I called at about 630pm looking for a room that night and food at the restaurant. I was still over an hour away and the restaurant closed at 8, but said they’d be happy to make food for us even if we got there at like 745!
They’re also pet friendly! We brought our cat and our dog, and they both enjoyed it 🙂
They have the SWEETEST big dog that wanders around the property. Super gentle and didn’t make a peep, but loved to get lots of pets ☺️ I
It’s also on a beautiful property with a fire pit, and beach volleyball court.

Beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally clean! Bed was really comfortable, we slept great. Nicer than most chain hotels I've stayed in recently. The owners and staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They reach out via text before check in to see if you have any questions or needs, and responses were very fast and helpful.

One more thing...our 3 year old left a book under the bed in our room. Not usually a big deal, but it was a gift from some dear friends so it had some sentimental value. I mentioned it to the owners and they found the book and shipped it us back in the States! Incredible service and gesture.

Wonderful experience all around. Room was very clean and quiet. I stayed for three nights with my two senior basset hounds and I could not have designed a better place for us to stay! Bed was comfortable; fridge/freezer, microwave and Keurig in the room. Comfortable chairs right outside the door to relax and enjoy the fresh, clean air! Short walk across the street to sandy beach access. Restaurant was wonderful, too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
