I'm sorry to say I was eating a burger bun from there package of 8 which i absolutely love and found a piece of brown paper bag possibly a flour bag my husband and I couldn't believe it. It had sesame seeds all over it and I was chewing and looked at it and unraveled it let it dry out and yes it was paper.

love your plum pudding!! Nice tangy and sweet taste. Will buy it again . I also saw other product reviews from your bakery and will try pound cake etc. I will look around for them in our stores in Southern Ontario. I am a transplant from Nova Scotia/New Brunswick! Happy New Year to all!

Bought Dark Christmas cake from McFadgen's this fall at a Giant Tiger Store in Eastern Ontario. It was the best I've had since my Grandmother's many years ago! Moist, Loaded with peel and nuts. Excellent.

Purchased dark fruitcake at Giant Tiger, Sherbrooke, Quebec: liked the taste better than others purchased, returned for more before Christmas but sold out. Wish known when they stocked them Christmas 2023.When 2024? I have my G-grandmother's dark fruit cake huge recipe, I no longer make so have been searching for a substitute for Pre-Cristmas 2024 onward = McFadgen's. Do other stores in Quebec (Eastern Townships)also carry McFadgen's- MAXI, reasonable priced stores ?

They have old fashioned breads and their donuts are to die for. One of the last old family bakeries left in the country.
