I stayed here for 5 nights from Monday to Saturday. My door looked like it had been ripped open from the top causing it to not seal. There was paint chunks flaking off the door frame from what, looked like severe impact. The room was also pretty dirty. From Monday to Wednesday I had no heat in my room and the solution was to give me a portable heater or a heated blanket while. Temperatures dropped to almost 20 below... I also had no hot water the entire time I was here and it was, mildly warm at best. They did eventually change me rooms on Wednesday night. A room where someone had punched a hole through the back of the bathroom door and kicked a hole through the front of it. It was a much cleaner room but the one burner on the kitchenette didn't work and someone had melted plastic on it as I, found out when i used a pot to boil water and filled the room with smoke. They have no upper levels for rental in their 3 level inn. The lobby looked nice and possibly renovated. They were somewhat accommodating by giving me the Friday night stay free of charge. But I, wouldnt recommend. They have yet to return my security deposit and I'm waiting for the phone call as to which they make up and excuse for keeping it like previous tenants have stated for damage we hadn't caused. I have documented and taken plenty of before and after pictures and videos of the rooms I was in incase they try. I wa sin my room from 7/8pm to 5am and all I did was eat shower and try to sleep while the long term tenants next door to me seemed to scream And fight each other all hours of the night till I left tin the mornings.

Check in was relatively easy, was some trouble as they wanted a $300 deposit for debit card. The room was spacious and retro which I found neat. Bed was decent as were the pillows. The small TV was very spotty and kept cutting out sometimes for minutes at a time but other then that our stay was good. Shower had good water pressure and was better then expected. It is an older motel but it is good value for the cheap price you pay if you are staying for a short time. It is right off the main highway so the morning was a bit loud with the traffic, so if you are a light sleeper it may not be right for you or get some ear plugs.

Excellent motel for the price. The location is great, 5 minutes walk to Casino and shopping center and 2 minutes walk to Timmy.Hotel staff is very prompt, travelling with a newborn can be challenging, but they were eager to help anytime. The smoke-free room was nice, air conditioning worked well and not noisy so all of us had very good sleep. Bathroom was clean and well organized but the room could have better lighting.||We would definitely return.

Stayed 9 nights in a "kitchenette" which meant a 1 piece leaky sink and 2 burners, one of which worked. No dish soap, wash cloth, toaster or coffee maker. ||Staff was extremely friendly and gracious but despite calling the day after I'd left they had thrown my forgotten pillow in the garbage. ||Decent washroom and comfortable bed but if you walk barefoot on the carpet you can feel salt like particles invading your pores. Thousands of dead mosquitoes on the bathroom light fixture and an empty condom wrapper under the bed. ||Old discarded mattresses outside provide shelter for the evening crackheads, but they tend to leave you alone.

This place is old and totally has that retro vibe - even had that musty and cigarette smell but they were the only one that accommodated us during the first few days of Fort McMurray being open after the tragic fire. ||||The check in lady was very friendly and accommodating. ||||My room was on the second floor, fronting the highway so it was a little bit noisy. ||||The price was very reasonable so I was not really expecting much. ||||What you will get here is a very basic place to sleep in and have a shower and friendly service.||||The motel is within walking distance to Superstore, a step away from Wendy's/Tim Hortons and Montana's.

After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit hesitant and as such, did not book in advance. When I arrived at the motel, it appeared to be clean, secure. Entering the motel lobby, it looked newly renovated and the staff was very friendly. I booked for 2 nights. I will absolutely stay again when I return for more teaching in the area! My room was clean, secure and quiet. (except the hwy traffic noise that didn't bother me). The bed is a firm mattress, the pillows were lumpy due to being washed several times, which to me is a good thing. (Perfect pillows are seldom washed). Clean, white sheets, and a newer TV as well as free WIFI. No, it's not a 5 star motel, but it is definitely a great value for your buck while on business, travel, or work. There is a credit card pre-auth required of 200.00 to book. It was released the day I checked out.

If you stay there short-term, there's a good chance they'll scam you out of your security deposit. They'll claim you smoked in there even though I don't smoke and you have very little recourse, just a heads up to everyone

I was booked here for work for this week and found it weird that it wasn't listed in Trip Advisor at all, which made me wary right off. The room was simple and in good condition with a fridge, air conditioner and 32" LCD TV. No Microwave or coffee pot, but for the price was all I needed. There was some road construction right in the front of the motel, that wasn't exactly great, but it happens. I'm not sure what the prices were in the other locations, but if you just need a room with nothing fancy, this was a good place.
