It was a little loud with the music and the opening hours were wrong on the website/Facebook but our kids had a great time thanks to the toys available for all 😊

I would like the thank the people at the aquatic center for accommodating my daughter. We came in from Edmonton for one night and this place made things happen and we truly appreciate your kindness, consideration and thoughtfulness. We did not except that to happen however let's just say my daughter was extremely one happy baby. Thank you again for everything you sure made her stay in Meadow that much better 🫶🏾

*****EDIT TO MY INITIAL 2020 REVIEW UPDATE AUG 21 2024: back in Meadow lake and this pool is still fantastic. The guys up front ,Carter, Troy… are doing a great job maintaining the place while manager Britney on mat leave. The pool shut down for a couple of days due to maintenance issues. It is an old building. But whenever the place is up and running, these guys are terribly kind to me, and my swims are always peaceful. So happy that Meadow Lake has this wonderful facility*****
****Initial 2020 review: I am a regular lap pool swimmer . I worked in Meadow Lake 10 years ago and this year I am back and boy am I glad they are still around! It is not a perfect pool and has many flaws but all and all I am happy and like I said, I am quite grateful that they stayed open during COVID times. The pool is big, the staff are SUPER friendly (shoutout to Britney the manager, Elizabeth the Lifeguard and London, Maddi at the front desk). The complaint I have is with the pool temperature. 10 years ago this was not an issue but this year when I came back the pool temperature always fluctuated drastically from VERY COLD to VERY WARM. Meadow Lake is not a warm place.. when temperature outside are freezing it's hard to enjoy an lap pool session when the water is freezing. Because of this I could not use the pool regularly. The water in the shower was also lukewarm and never actually got hot. I complained to Britney the manager about it and complained to the staff NUMEROUS times. Britney the manager was very receptive and willing to make improvements. She explained to me that the pool had one of it's heaters that was broken. But even when they apparently fixed it the drastic fluctuations continued! My second complaint is the lack of scheduled lane swims. During the week I work and cannot come to a noon or early morning swim. The only other option for me is late at night from 8-9pm. Considering that I am in bed by 10pm and that it takes me 30 minutes to get to the pool this schedule is impossible for me so I could only go in the weekends when I didn't work. I wish they had 5-6pm or even 6pm to 7pm lane swim option available! But all and all I am just so happy they stayed open. I always look forward to my weekends swims. Way to go ML Aquatic Centre. You guys are awesome!

It's fun, the kids love it. But I dont like when certain workers don't smile at younger kids because of the color of their skin.🤷🏽‍♀️ I notice these things when I see it. I'm just glad the children can't.

The aquatic center is okay but can use some improvements. For example the whirlpool temperature is is cooler then expect, like a cold bath temperature. And I would recommend they repair the rock climbing wall due to loose anker point on the wall will rotate unexpectedly.

We had booked ONLINE JUST LIKE THEY SAID and we saw that we had a spot in the pool. We get to the front desk a the curly haired guy said he couldn’t find us. He would not make eye contact and he was very shifty. My recommendation would be to phone in your reservation.

Walked in as there was six people walking out and the curly haired man at the front desk gave me the whole "we're full to capacity" speech and didn't bother to actually count. We're First Nations people so I think he just didn't want us there. Regardless we got the hint and won't be spending our money there cause clearly they don't want natives there.

So awesome and fun and the staff are kind and polite and also the place was clean and sanitary also it was so much fun me and my grandbaby and daughter and friends had so much fun....
