Top drawer all the way!!! Amazing hospitality, wonderful food, cozy accommodations. All backdropped against the setting of Lake Nipissing in northern Ontario. Fresh air, clear water and trees for miles. I look forward to many more visits with family and friends.

Spent three days at a painting workshop in this beautiful part of the province. A magical time - genuine hospitality, delish meals, cozy, rustic cabins, and trees and fresh water for days. Enjoyed every moment. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Memquisit.

My son and I spent a week at Memquist and it was a great decision and terrific place. We were in Cottage 2, which is on an amazing hill and gives you a view of the surrounding area and especially the lake, although hauling stuff up there is a chore (but, frankly, entirely worth it). The cottage itself is simple but entirely functional - kettle, microwave, stove, sink, fridg, BBQ etc all in good working order. The beds aren't comfy hotel beds, but they are more than fine - this is a place where the outdoors is what matters. I did tease owner Frank about the couch in it -- it was a little hard on the back -- and he told me it was being replaced that week. So there you go, they are on top of things at Memquisit. ||||The fishing was good- lots of pike and bass and we found the walleye on Day 4, which were quite deep. The map Frank gives you is ideal and points to major fishing areas. Maybe I wish it was laminated so it didn't get wrecked when wet, but he did give us more than one copy so were okay. ||||The cedar strip boat we got was a palace on the water and if you're renting a boat, I'd take one just for the experience. Prices overall were great. Really, if you're looking for an outdoorsy vacation on Lake Nipissing, Memquisit is a beautiful spot.

My wife and I took our son and his fiancé to Memquisit for three nights. This was one of our best trips ever. Fishing was good, cabin was clean, comfortable, and had an incredible view. The beauty of this area is the real attraction. This place is good for the soul. Charlene and Frank make you feel very welcome...they go out of their way to make your stay excellent. We plan to return many times.

Location is set in a wonderful untouched part of Ontario - friendly and warm hospitality provided by a family team - rustic with charm is how I would coin this corner of paradise.

Try and choose one of the cabins that are set atop a rock as they seem to have the loveliest views

Highly suggest guided fishing as they completely understand the greatest fishing holes

There’s a great lounge set off the main dining room if you need a bit of rest from the sunshine or I was thinking for a rainy nights with card games

This is by far above average in my opinion to Muskoka options which can get crowded during these summer months

My family has been coming to this camp for 35+ years. Over the years the owners have transformed it from a fishing camp for men to a family vacation spot. They have done every thing they can to make it family friend, modern and still keep it rustic enough to know you are outdoors. The cabins are rustic but have electricity, running water, and heat if needed. The scenic views of the west arm of Lake Nippising is fantastic, regardless of the weather or time of day. |We have done both house keeping and American plan. (American plan is more food than you can possible eat, almost made it hard to go fishing after eating lol) House keeping is nice for groups of 3 or more. House keeping does require a boat to reach your cabins. Most American plan cabins offer the ability to drive up to the cabin to unload. |The staff is friendly and will do anything they can to accommodate your needs. This place is truly worth the 12+ hr drive it takes us. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

First, I have to commend Frank, Charlene and I believe Loral for their hard hard work. It honestly seemed like they did not stop moving while we were there.

Our cabin (11A), was more than enough space for our group of 6. It was spacious and well kept. The extra chest freezer came in handy for our frozen goods.

The Alumacraft boats you can rent are absolutely perfect for fishing these waters and they are in mint condition.

We had some boat issues with our personal boat and Frank went out of his way to take a look at it himself before letting us going out and spending money to have it fixed. He managed to have our boat running and saved us big.

If you are planning a trip to the west arm, they are in the perfect location. They take care of their property, cabins and customers.
