Great hotel! The rooms are clean, the workstation in our suite was perfect for getting some work done in the evening. Adequate counter space for the rest of my other belongings. Staff are wonderful! Polite, courteous, and patient! Would definitely stay here again!

Great everything with this hotel! My kids love the swimming pool according to them it is their favourite hotel! water is clean and perfect temperature!!! Clean spacious room. and breakfast included! Very nice service all in all. Definitely would love to check-in there again.

Overall the price is right for what you get, the pool is extremely small, no hot tub or sauna, rooms were small, cleaning needed some work, as there was body hair in our tub. The staff was not the friendliest and not overly helpful. Other than that it was cheap and kept us warm for the night.

The bad:
When i booked a few weeks prior I was told the pool was running but apparently it was closed for maintenance.
The sheets, pillows and quilt seemed rough and starchy when the blankets moved it was so loud and not cozy. The pillows also seemed obnoxiously big .. both beds seemed to have 3 sizes/firmness.
The good:
The ladies at the front counter are amazing and since the hotel was slow over Christmas break they made the eggs and meat (of our choice ) fresh for the breakfast and it was delicious and then we still had access to everything else like bread, yougurt, etc.
Rooms were very clean and all common areas too!

I have not stayed overnight here, but i have rented the pool for a birthday party for my son's 10th birthday party July 2023. The staff were accommodating and super friendly. We also enjoyed the most amazing wings and nachos in the lobby/bar restaurant. In my experience, it is the friendliest, and most accommodating hotel out there. They do try their best and the food is amazing! You do not have to stay overnight to enjoy their delicious food.

The Microtel is usually my favorite hotel to stay. Unfortunately, today, I was forced to leave shortly after checking in. To all the hockey parents that read this review. On what planet do you think it is acceptable to let your children charge up and down the hallways playing ministicks disrupting other paying guests, while you and the other parents get smashed in the lobby. Not knocking any of the staff. The parents dont care to do anything about it. This is all on the ignorant parents.

We had a great stay! Came in with our hockey team and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating! The kids had a blast in the pool! Breakfast was good and the lounge is a nice touch!
