Basic trails. Easy to walk. Nice little river to stop at. Good view over Norwood from the too of the hill. There is some poison ivy along the trails so be on the lookout. The dump/transfer station is nearby, but you can park near the road or at the first parking lot after the bridge, then walk around from there. Our kids enjoy walking and running the trails and exploring the river.

The park is a nice mixture of hills and established walking trails. View from apex of esker is quite good. However

WARNING: there is a healthy population ofpoison ivy encroaching on the trail in many places. It is a definite hazard for people and pets.

Even main trails have sandy places where there is new growth on well established path. Probably best enjoyed out of season.

First time there. Maps at the entrance and trail markings are very confusing. Definitely not for the trail for new adventurers. Was it a local dump site or a marked trail? Could not figure it out.
