BEWARE of housekeeping issues!! Mary either threw out or took home an expensive garment that was clearly not discarded but forgotten and hanging to dry in the shower. When asked the next day there was no recollection of it apparently, but I can’t imagine it was left in a used bathroom for the guests the following night. Incredibly frustrating and dishonest and not the first hotel experience of this nature. Must be one of the perks as an under appreciated housekeeper to take the odd score home!!
Too bad that she left a bad impression as we would have happily brought much more business here through work, but that was enough to never come back again.

I highly recommend this hotel! The staff is amazing and they are very accommodating. My co workers and I were staying here for work, we started in smaller room as there was no larger rooms available when we arrived. They were very kind and brought us fridges and a microwave for us to do some cooking as we were staying here for an extended amount of time! After a week they had larger kitchenette rooms available, they called, asked for our consent to move our belongings to bigger rooms. When we arrived after work everything was moved and organized very well for us. Food and drinks in the fridge, jackets hung up etc.
This hotel also has a pool and hot tub which is awesome for after a long day! I have no complaints about this hotel and a huge kudos to the staff for being so helpful.

Laine was exceptional to deal with. We had a large group of 15 rooms and had to rearrange days twice, she was cheerful and helpful all weekend!

We only stayed one night from 11pm-6am but it was a decent stay. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. I hated that you had to go downstairs for the coffee instead of a machine in the room though. It's pretty easy to get to from the highway and there is lots of parking. Fast food and simple shopping is nearby.

If you have disabilities and have a pet (family fur human who helps you but not necessarily a service animal), this is THE place to stay. We made an impromptu visit to visit family in Alberta, and one of the stops was Calgary. Well, we were not going to pay the crazy fees to stay in a hotel in Calgary, and our go-to place is always THIS motel 6 in Airdrie.
They never disappoint us. This time, though, our one night stay on Dec 25 and 26th was extraordinary where three staff members went above and beyond!

I am going to take the time to write my Thank Yous to them because I want it to be public and if you encounter any of them realize they not only worked on a stat holiday, they took the time to make someone else's family holiday extra special; by doing what they deamed "it was nothing, and, anyone else would do the same". Proof that it is not the " big things" that mean something it is the small things!
First was Jason. Thank you, Jason, for ensuring that there were 5 pillows needed in our accessible room and for having it on the first floor. Being so pleasant on the phone and even remembering me when I checked in. When I inquired about a space to eat with my son and his wife, he let us know about the meeting room. Reserved it for us, and the next shift staff know that we were going to use it.

Then when we were in our room I had some baked goods that needed to stay cold and noticed our fridge wasn't working. I called Jason, and he sent someone over to check on it. The gentleman (i forgot to ask his name) made it work, and then it stopped again. Instead of saying oh well sorry. He said he would be back with a fridge. He brought back a fridge that was clearly new! Now that is amazing. It didn't take several hours to get this resolved. It took mere minutes!!!
Then there was Janet. She actually made me cry, but in a good way. I went to the meeting room, and she had laid out four REAL plates and cutlery. Listen, this sounds crazy but that detail made our chinese dinner family meal (the first one with my son and his wife where I didn't cook) something that felt like home. Everyone arrived on time, including our food, and we spent our Christmas dinner talking laughing and building memories. She even found bowls and large spoons for the soup "because it's nicer to eat with real cutlery and plates and bowls than plastic or paper stuff." Never once did she create the impression that we were a bother. Instead, she made us feel like family friends.
You don't have to spend a fortune on a hotel stay. You have to spend a fortune on great staff like these while having a hotel room that will allow a person (or family) to get a good night's sleep, have a shower (amazing shower I might add) and feel ready to face the next day. Awesome location and the staff were great.they even mailed us an essential baby camera when we left it behind. Thanks M6 team! Pool was warm for the kiddos too!
