My parents and I took a trip from WA state to see the Butchart Gardens and we stayed at Munchen Villa en route to Vancouver Island and when we came back. It was the perfect location. It’s quiet, clean, close to nature and the ferry terminal. There are a lot of places to eat and beautiful nature walks nearby. Ted, the owner is very hospitable and personable. We will definitely stay here again if we take the same trip.

Be careful when booking with Muchen Villa. We booked in April for August, four months in advance. Now in June we get a message that the property changed names (by modifying the name slightly) and canceled our reservation. Yet the exact listing is available but at twice of the original price!!!!! Unbelievable!

My second time here, came here 4 years ago after a night flight, and went back recently mainly because the location is quite close to tsawwassen ferry, otherwise its a nice little villa, the rooms are comfy & clean, you get a shared bathroom/kitchen/hanging area, the owner is friendly, decent place for a night stay

My husband and I so enjoyed are stay at Muchen Villa. The location was perfect. It was located close to everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was clean and comfortable. The main communal areas and kitchen were clean and spacious. Ted was an awesome host....helpful, engaging, and very friendly. The price was right, too. We know we'll make a point of staying there again when we next have to travel to the area. Thank you, Ted, for making our stay such an enjoyable one!

Looking for an economical stay during labor day weekend I was not left with many options especially last minute. Never stayed at a shared house but it kept coming up in my search and the reviews were positive so I'd thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did. Not only was the price right it was well worth the stay. It was in the area I hoped for but it was a good location. Plenty of parking and easy to get I to. Self check in made it easy as we arrived late. The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable. The restroom was shared however we never had issues with it being used when we wanted to. To my surprise staying in a shared house was pretty comfortable and convenient. We didn't see the manager much but when we did he was very nice and pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.

We choosed this stay to be close to the ferry. It is located in a kind of no man's land and for a late night arrival, you will be happy to have a GPS. However, we were pleasingly surprised by the overall experience. Quiet, spacious, yet cozy. Rooms are very confortable and there are many bathrooms so sharing is not a concern.

I highly recommend this place, good price and very comfortable. For those days when you can't take the ferry or you need to make a stop in this area or even for a day of relaxation since it is very quiet. No noise and also comfortable.

Muchen Villa was spotlessly clean, inviting and enjoyable. Ted, the Manager was amazing in maintaining the place, providing good clean bedrooms with ample soft bedding as well as clean shared bathrooms and common spaces. The patio space was a bonus for socializing with other fellow residents. This is my second visit to Muchen House and I look forward to returning in the future
