Had a great stay at Muskoka Bay Resort! We encountered a minor issue during our visit, but I was genuinely impressed with how the staff at both the resort and restaurant went above and beyond to make it right—excellent service all around. The new facilities are top-notch, especially the sauna which was a relaxing experience, and the state-of-the-art gym was amazing. I’ll definitely be back for another stay and to enjoy the golf course. Highly recommend this resort if you're looking for a perfect “staycation” getaway!

This is actually our second time at Muskoka Bay, our first time was in November 2023. Muskoka Bay is a very basic hotel with very spacious suites. ||Check in is always quick and efficient, front desk is always helpful. ||We stayed in a one bedroom every time. It's perfect size for 2 people but might be tight with kids. There's only really enough room for the bed in the bedroom but you you are not really supposed to spend too much time in the rooms.||We stayed 2 nights each time, and there's no daily housekeeping service which is fine for a weekend trip. The rooms are well appointed and clean, and a call down to the front desk will always get you prompt service for whatever you need.||The kitchenette is well appointed, there is a microwave, stove and a small oven. However, there are no spices or condiments so if you plan on cooking, you need to bring all your seasoning but they have all the equipment. They provide coffee pods but we never find it enough for the 2 nights we stay.||The first time we came, we used it as a base to do some hiking so we did not take advantage of any of the amenities. ||This time, we came on Family Day long weekend and there were many activities however, they were all full quickly (not the fault of the hotel). The annoying thing about the hotel is that there are no amenities in the building. Everything else is in the restaurant/amenity building which is not a far walk but it is a little bit inconvenient as there's nowhere to go except your room. ||We went to the pro shop to borrow the snow shoes and that was a lot of fun. The staff were great and it was fairly easy to grab the equipment. There was a nice trail that we went during the snowstorm so it was a lot of fun. The skating rink looked pretty small but probably great for young kids. We did not get a chance to use the sauna since it was all booked up. There's no other facilities within the gym facility, just the gym area.||The restaurant is very good, I wish there was a small coffee shop or even somewhere to buy some snacks or drinks in the actual hotel would be nice.||The hotel is fine but the amenities are a little bit lacking. It's really more of a residence.

I came to the restaurant with my partner and had the pleasure of being served by a waitress Hailey recently, and she made the experience fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and offered great recommendations. Her personality truly enhanced my visit, and I left feeling not just satisfied with my meal, but also with excellent service. Highly recommend being seated with her!

My partner and I went for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. The hotel was pretty basic the lobby is very bare and there is no cafe. The room was a simple condo style unit but had a nice view of the golf course. We had dinner at the
cliffside and highly recommend. The steaks were good and the mushroom ravioli. Overall a nice experience.

I came here for dinner with my mother and had a fantastic experience here! The service was excellent! Our server Hailey was both attentive and friendly, and our food was delicious. The restaurant environment made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for great food and even better service!

First impression service inquiry is lacking. I had questions about general summer activities and a golf guy called me back. Didn’t even seem like he listened to my voicemail properly. I had no questions regarding golf. The staff need to have interconnected knowledge with the services offered on the resort. Or at least have the right person call me back to answer questions.

Great amenities, 5*staff and restaurant. The rooms are not $500 worth!. Our room had skuff marks all over the walls, the island moved easily, the baseboards trim weren't finished and painted. The glass patio door and railing was filthy with weeds growing out of the floor. Not nice. For 500 a night I would expect it to be nicer than my house. The golf course was pristine, rooms fell very short. Didn't feel luxurious at all!!
