This park was really cute and great for kids. Play structure is a little old, but fun for my 2 yrs old. The park and views of the lake were great, saw some geese, and a mom and baby deer walking around in the morning, and the water was very calm. The splash pad looks great and it is quite large to play on. And then we saw Hoopla island too. He is too young for it, but I have heard it is great for older kids and even some adults.

This is right behind the railway museum and dairy queen as well, so lots to do.

Norman park and beach is a really beautiful place! There is also a church meeting at the Community Center on the same property.

I have been going to this beach since I was a toddler. Over the years it has been an ok place to swim and visit. I went this past weekend with my son and the amount of work that has gone into the beach and play structures is amazing. If you are passing through Kenora, this is probably the best place to visit with kids.

Kenora's best park including the water activity Hoopla Island which is really good value, a sand beach, change rooms, a beautiful new play structure, splash pad, shaded seating for adults, good views of the water etc.

11 year old and 8 year old had a blast. Was pretty busy though. Easy to get to, and good parking. Nice beach too for the rest of us with picnic tables nearby.
