This community house is the worst. One of the women who works as a reception and daycare in the community house committed a racism against my mother. She wants to remove my mother from the language school after she learned one week. She made my mother wait for 3 months, and now she told her to leave. For the last three days, the reception called my mother to her office during learning and disturbed her by telling her to leave the school without reason. The manager has to remove this employee.

I was once a newcomer years ago. I believe each has its opinion with someone or something. In my experience, Ms. Shajareh has helped me a lot when i first came to Canada. My family has relied on her in so many areas of our settlement including filling up important government forms and finding jobs. She is very supportive and always there when we need her. This is so far my experience with this supportive lady in North York Community House.
