My friends and I joined for the paint your pet class and had the best time. Heather was an amazing teacher - passionate, knowledgeable and encouraging. We were all very happy with our pet portraits as they started coming together at the end. Would definitely recommend their classes for anyone looking to improve their skills or just have a good time.

I joined the OAS this past January after rediscovering my love for oil painting. Since then, I’ve taken Barbara Chapman’s interiors and colour theory courses, and her mentorship has been incredible. I'm excited to continue learning from her. The community and atmosphere here are truly fantastic.

I recently took a four-week course on collage with Greg Douglas at the Oakville Art Society.  I learned so much and I think this was the most fun I've ever had in an art class! Greg is a fabulous artist and instructor, and was very generous with praise, encouragement and ideas to improve our art while not dictating what to do.  I would definitely take a class with Greg again. The OAS is a wonderful place to learn, network and have fun.

I have just finished my second art class with Susan DelBianco: it is a beginner class, no prior knowledge or special talents required, but Sue knows how to bring out the best in her students, and we all ended up creating amazing paintings! She has some of them on her instagram susandelbiancoart, for all to see!
I love spending 3 hours at my class every Monday, it is time for myself when I can explore colour and painting techniques and learn from Sue and other classmates, so I will be back again in her class 🙂
