Vraiment vraiment a déconseiller. Le train passe tout les 30 minutes et avec sont sifflet nous a réveillé toute les nuit. Les terrains sont minuscule et il y a pas d'activité sur le camping. De plus pas de machine a laver et sécheuse disponible près du camping.

A beautiful smaller park located very close to parry sounds. We spend the morning here paddling and fishing the lake. The water was nice and the fishing was decent. The staff were friendly and the park was very clean. While paddling the lake, there is a spot at the tip to get out and relax with a picnic table. The waterfront campsites looked beautiful and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. They also have canoes for rent and a nice floating dock to launch them from. A beautiful park but no hiking trails and not that much land to explore. The lake is where the adventure is.

Beautiful park! I imagine it gets even more beautiful in the fall!

Our site was 151 — a beautiful site with two pads so you can park separate from where your tent or eating is. Waterfront access and incredibly clean!

Only reason it isn’t five stars because there are trains that run through semi often. It didn’t bother me too much and I didn’t wake up in the night, but was challenging getting to bed. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

This is also a very easy stop off the highway so if you are driving through on the TransCanada, this park adds virtually no time going out of the way. I have never heard of this park prior, but I’m so glad we have stopped as I’d love to go back now we know!

Had a wonderful week camping at Oastler Lake. The sound of the trains didn't really bother us. The fishing was not good, but we had fun kayaking and swimming. Our dog enjoyed swimming too.
We used the small 2 stall bathroom near our site. They were kept pretty clean, but often ran out of toilet paper.
Firewood sold on site was nice and dry.
My family really liked this park, we will return!

Sites are generous in size and spaced apart nicely. The land is beautiful with well kept grounds. The front staff are very friendly and helpful and the staff kept the washrooms and grounds very clean and well stocked daily. The beaches and water were stunning. The park was rented out yet we couldn’t tell at all it was busy. Very quiet and so specious the entire weekend was very peaceful.

Wir wurden hier so etwas von unfreundlich bis abweisend empfangen. Als wir 5 Minuten vor Torschuss ankamen, wurde uns das Schild "such dir deinen Platz gefälligst selber" vor die Nase gahlten.
Als wir uns dann dennoch erlaubten, das Office aufzusuchen, um einen Plan des Campingplatzes zu erhalten würden wir subtil, aber sehr eindringlich darauf hingewiesen, dass wir nicht wirklich willkommen sind. Dass unsere Platz Nachbarn mit deutschem Schlager aus den achtziger Jahren den Camping beschallten, schien ausser uns niemanden zu stören. Und dass auch die ganze Nacht durch die Güterzüge im Stundentakt hupend am Campingplatz vorbeifuhren hat den Gesamteindruck nicht wirklich verbessert. Das Finden der Entsorgungsplätze gleite einer Schnitzel jagt, da nichts wirklich gut angeschrieben ist. Nur die Lage direkt am See mit Sand Strand war hier ein positives Erlebnis.
Die sehen uns nie wieder.

Oastler Lake PP has been overall nice to us. We just had heavy rain one day, but overall experience was good.

There is only one thing I did not like, the sites are not very private and we had the site 155, which was in front of the comfort stations. I specifically booked it for us to be convenient, however, people in the campsite behind 102 and 104, there was a large group and they just kept passing through out campsite, even after we repeatedly told them not to.

They were not nice people and even after we complained about them, they still kept doing it. They did not ask for permission, or nothing. They just thought that’s their campsite.

But other than that, washrooms were good, our campsite was good. It has a nice beach and you can also rent canoes. It was a good experience.
