Belle maison sur la colline, à proximité du ferry. Point de départ idéal pour visiter la région d'Annapolis Royal, Long et Briar Island. |La chambre bleue offre un lit King size , un coin salon, et une magnifique vue sur la baie et le lever du soleil. Seul défaut dans la salle de bain: il faut être contorsionniste pour utiliser la douche. Très propre et confortable. |Relevons encore le bon accueil de Maria, les renseignements et les bonnes adresses fournies, la réservation pour une sortie de mer faite par Bob, et bien sûr les délicieux petits déjeuners , avec la touche du CHEF.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits a ce B&B et toutes trois furent des plus agréables.||La première nuit était a l'étage, belle grande chambre avec lit King très confortable. Les grandes personnes auront peut-être un peu de difficulté avec la douche, installée sous un toit en mansarde mais outre cela tout était parfait.||Les nuits suivantes l'ont été dans la suite Patio, 3 pièces comprenant salle de bain avec bain tourbillon, petit salon et chambre a coucher avec, encore une fois, un très grand lit confortable.||Dans tous les cas, les pièces étaient éclatantes de propreté. ||La salle du déjeuner donne sur deux grandes fenêtres avec vue sur la baie, ses brouillards, ses levers de soleil magnifiques, et les reflets du soleil sur la mer.||L'hôte des lieux, Robert, est une personne très calme, posée, qui vous sert sans même que vous vous en rendiez compte ! Ancien chef dans une autre vie, il vous concoctera de succulents déjeuners. Il est de très d'agréable compagnie et ne s'impose pas comme c'est parfois le cas chez d'autres hôtes que nous avons rencontrés. ||Et vous apprendrez peut-être que toute la maison a été construite de ses mains...et tout est bien fait vous le verrez rapidement.||Vous pourrez y être servis en anglais ou en français et le B&B se trouve a 2 minutes du traversier pour le Nouveau-Brunswick. ||S'il y un endroit idéal...c'est là !||Nous le recommandons sans hésiter !|

Such an amazing B&B find! We only stayed for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer. A lovely home, great location, comfortable rooms, yummy breakfast, space to park your car, and such fantastic hosts! Maria and Bob, thank you so much for having us! Our stay at Bob and Maria's B&B was the highlight of our two weeks trip across PEI and Nova Scotia. We initially intended to spend one night there, but we were so charmed by this beautifully decorated house, its view, and its owners that we stayed one more night. We left hoping that we will return someday.
This place is a labor of love and for someone passionate about romantic places, it truly is a hidden gem. Thank you so much, Bob and Maria for your warm welcome and goodbye, the excellent service, delicious sweet homemade breakfast (the scones and lemon curd are to die for) and for all the hard work and attention to detail you put into creating such an amazing home! ?

Our stay with Bob & Maria was meant to be a mere stop on our way back home from Cape Breton but ended up being yet another highlight of our trip! We were amazed by the hospitality from the moment we arrived and Maria offered us a pot of herbal tea as we unwound and watched a television program about scuba divers in Nova Scotia. We soon became entranced by the remarkable decor all throughout the house and were not at all surprised to learn that Maria has a diploma in interior decoration! What's more is that much of the art was done by Bob and Maria themselves! In the morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of fruit and eggs benedict from Bob, who worked as an international chef for many years before settling in Digby. We were sad to leave after such a short stay. Thanks, Bob & Maria!

The house is in a lovely setting, and our room, the maroon room has nice water views. The room is also well equipped and the bed comfortable. We liked being out of town as the road is relatively quiet other than around ferry time. The exterior of the house is in need of upkeep, abs things just seem tired. Bob was very nice, and he regaled us with stories of being an internationally acclaimed chef - yet his breakfast was just OK. The worst part for us was his wife Maria very loudly talking and laughing on the phone in a room below us, from 8:30 until almost 11:00 pm.

Bob & Maria are great hosts! He warmly greeted us when we arrived. We stayed in the Garden Suite and it had everything we needed. The hosts also had a living room that we could use. The yard and gardens are beautiful and inviting. Bob is a retired executive chef so needless to say, our breakfast was delicious! The B & B is very convenient to the ferry terminal. Bob gave excellent recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. We certainly recommend this B & B to all!
