Je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! Tout le personnel a été très serviable et adorable avec nous. Nous avions 3 chambres et toutes les 3 étaient confortables et bien équipées. Les chambres sont aussi bien insonorisées. L'hôtel se situe au bout de la rue principale, avec pleins de restaurants tout le long.

Toujours un hotel ou j’aime me retrouver.Très bon rapport qualité-prix, les chambres sont très propres, le personnel serviable. Si possible, payez l’extra pour la vue sur l’eau. Beaucoup plus joli. Il y a plusieurs beaux petits restaurants locaux sur la route principale, à une distance de marche. J’y retournerai sans aucun doute.

We were excited for a peaceful weekend away from our baby, but our stay at Ocean Promenade Hotel was disappointing. Our two-queen A/B-style room had very thin walls, and we were woken up repeatedly by loud door slamming from the adjoining unit. The layout also meant our window looked directly onto the neighbor’s balcony—someone was standing right outside within minutes of us arriving. Their balcony features chairs directly outside of our window (see photo) so we had to keep our blinds closed for privacy.

Nothing in the booking process mentioned this shared view, and at this price point we expected more transparency and a more restful, private experience. The front desk staff was lovely, but we wouldn’t stay in this type of room again.

My husband and I came here for a first-trip-since-having-babies trip. It was perfect. You cannot beat the location. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. I know there are a lot of complaints about the train but we did not hear it the whole time we were here. There are lots of great places to eat and walk to. The staff was kind and helpful. We loved our stay here!

Recently updated. Clean and affordable. Bed is comfy! Views us great! I was worried about the train but it moves slowly through town and I didn't hear it at night. We has a partial view king room and it was great. We just were there one night so we didn't use the kitchen but it was fully functional if you need one.

The location is perfect for beach access and very close to the lively part of Marine Drive for dining and cocktails. We enjoyed a multiweek stay and the staff was courteous and helpful with any query or issue we had.
This is the type of non-chain hotel that needs to be more prominent around Canada.

This was my second stay in this hotel, and although my first stay, 9 nights, was good, the train was an issue but I enjoyed the size of my large room with the electric fireplace which made the room cozy. The shower was odd, probably built for handicapped usage, but other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Just checked out this morning after a 4-night stay, which was not as enjoyable as my initial stay. We were situated at the back of the building, so the train wasn’t an issue this time, however, we were on the second floor and the room above us was occupied by very noisy people who had a party on our second night. We had to call the front desk twice before the noise level finally died down. At that point, my daughter, who was staying with me, called her brother who lives in White Rock to come pick her up at 10:00 pm and she stayed at his place for the night. I stayed behind in the room. This hotel is in serious need of sound-proofing their rooms, both from outside train noise and internal guest noise.

The room was also lacking regarding the bathtub and shower head. I would suggest to management to invest in recovering the tub (which had a black ring around it, not dirty, but stained) and installing a newer, modern shower head.

The service is good; Anna and Jasmine are lovely and try to help as best they can. Kudos to the front desk and housekeeping staff. The rooms are also quite clean.
The location is great, and in nice weather, walking around White Rock is lovely. Views of the ocean and the mountains in the distance is beautiful.
