We took the food tour today with Erik. He hit it out of the park. Not only did he provide interesting historical information about Victoria, but he had excellent stories about the town and its iconic buildings. The food was exquisite. The chowder was the best I have had ( I am not a chowder connoisseur but this was absolutely delicious). In a thousand years I would never think a Korean corn dog was a destination food. I am happy to report this Korean treat is worth it and a not to be missed experience, Further delicacies enjoyed included amazing cheese and wine, drinking chocolate and hazelnut truffles, exquisite pastry from Crust and macaroons. We so enjoyed Erik and this tour and highly recommend
this entire experience. Thank you for all your efforts to make this so nice.

For first timers in Victoria, a food tour is a great option to try new foods/restaurants in the area. We picked the Downtown Food and City tour as the starting location was right across from our hotel. We had a small group of 5 and our guide Julie took us around the city. I liked that we were given options on certain foods (I requested a cheese korean dog instead of meat). Some items felt a bit adventurous to our group but overall was a great experience. We tried at least 10 different foods/samples from 7 places. Julie was also great teaching us about historical places as we walked around town. Took around 2 hours and at the end you are given a discount card if you want to go back to go try other things at the places visited.

Brenda was our tour guide! She was so fun and knowledgeable! We enjoyed her! The tour was comfortable with 2 other couples, not a big group. The food was so good and from different cultures. Highly recommend

We had Julie as our guide. She was very informative of the local area and showed us some amazing spots to try. Being Born and raised in Victoria, she even taught me a whole bunch of stuff about the city that I didn't even know I would highly recommend this to her and I would highly recommend Julie as a guide. Our family took the Downtown Victoria Food and City Tour with Jo! What a fun and tasty time we had!! We have taken a few food tours over the years with different companies in different cities. Consensus within our family is this was the best one yet! The food was fun, Jo was awesome, and we simply had the best time! 😀

We did the hip and hidden food tour. We didn't really know what to expect but it blew us away. We had items from 7 different establishments (definitely come hungry). The food was amazing, the guide was really knowledgeable, and it was clear the guide had a good relationship with the restaurant proprietors (and worked around their needs). Highly recommended.

Brenda was the perfect combination of quirky and knowledgeable. As someone who lives in the area when not travelling in search of snacks, she took us not just on a tour for our tastebuds, but also made bbq us laugh and learn. We live close to Victoria, but never would have made it to the locations we travelled to (well except to go back later in the day with our discount card!). A wonderful way to spend an afternoon for foodies and newbies alike.

We absolutely loved our tour with Brenda. She was super knowledgeable about everything! From the local cuisine, history of Victoria etc.- she knew it all! She was funny, helpful and we loved how kind and respectful she was to all the local spots we hit. 100% recommend!
