My husband and I accompanied my parents and mother-in-law on a cruise with Mark and Robin and their very friendly crew. This was my parents' 13th cruise with them in 20 years! We were not surprised to learn 50% of the passengers were repeats! Mark and Robin welcomed every one of us like family. All of the staff, bar none, were just delightfully hospitable. That sort of behaviour brings out the best in the passengers and as a result everyone had a wonderful few days together! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a restful, scenic waterway holiday. Delicious homemade meals and snacks. The highest of standards where cleanliness is concerned. Five starts to every member of the crew!

Last winter my wife attended a presentation by Ontario Waterways in St Catharines for a boat excursion on the Trent Severn system. We were, as so many Covid weary, and we also wanted to keep our spending in Ontario. We decided to sign up and just completed a 5 day voyage from Peterborough to Big Chute on the Ontario Waterways vessel...Kawartha Voyageur. The trip met our expectations and MORE. The vessel was very well maintained and spotless, the staff so friendly and attentive to our needs, and the food was all prepared on board and was out of this world. The the beauty of the waterway spectacular. We made so many friends on board some will remain in our lives after the trip. Thank you Mark and Robin for such a great experience. We will see you next summer on the Kingston to Ottawa section.

We just completed the Kingston to Ottawa cruise, along with a couple of friends. Also on board were two couples that we met last year on the Peterboro to Big Chute cruise.
I highly recommend either one of these cruises as they are very relaxing, and informative.
The food is prepared fresh everyday, breakfast, snack (cookies right out of the oven), lunch, afternoon snack, supper and a snack before retiring for the night. There is always fresh fruit, snacks, along with cookies or muffins (until they are gone) for you to partake of any time of day.
I cannot thank Marc, Robin and the very efficient and friendly crew enough for a great time.
Thank you again. See you next year early August for out trip from Kingston to Peterboro.

Our Kingston to Ottawa cruise completely exceeded our expectations. The ship was unique and super clean. The owners and staff met our every need with a smile and made us feel like royalty. The meals were delicious and all homemade on board. We leisurely cruised through the locks of the Rideau while viewing the beauty that nature presented. There was entertainment each evening of which you could partake or relax on your own. We met many interesting people who helped to make this a fun and relaxing trip. Hope to do it again some day.

Our Kingston to Ottawa cruise on the Kawartha Voyageur is on our list of favorite vacations we have ever taken. The owners and entire crew spoiled us. We appreciated their cheerfulness and sense of humor, even when interrupted to get us a drink, answer a question, or just small talk. The meals were wonderful and the warm cookies that were our snack each morning, not put on a table for us to find but brought to us each day on every deck. The showers were roomy, clean, and had nice hot water. We found a place for everything in our room, so much so that I left a pair of shoes I had put under my bed. The cleaning crew found them and were returned to me in the mail! Wonderful run company, wonderful cruise. We will most likely be another repeat customer. Thank you.

Fabulous, deserves 6 stars! Anyone who has not given at least 4 stars has not gone on a cruise offered by OWC, and their opinion should be disregarded. If folks are unhappy about the vaccine mandate they should give a single star to the government, not to companies applying it. So, from anyone having actually taken a cruise with OWC, only raving reviews: great traditional Canadian food, impeccable cleanliness, attentive and most pleasant crew members, nothing but «wow »! Did the Ottawa-Kingston trip, which was fantastic; stops at enchanting locations, relaxed atmosphere throughout, lots of occasions to walk around at the stops for a bit of exercise for those who want to, a real vacation! Just one consideration for potential cruisers; average age of passengers is over 70, so it is not for kids, or anyone under 40 unless accompanying an older friend or parent. My wife and I are end-forties to mid-fifties and we enjoyed tremendously the company of passengers with more life experience than us. Planning on doing it again on another itinerary offered by OWC.
