Absolutely beautiful location. We stayed outside of the summer season. I'm sure it's tough to get a spot during the summer but would be well worth it if you could

Celebrated my friends birthday with a quick trip away and this spot was perfect.

We were right on a cute little pond complete with a family of ducks. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The resort property is huge but there is a golf cart available by text to swing by and give you a lift which we took advantage of after a day at the pool.

The reception hours are fairly short and the lakeside pool is a little on the small side and lacking in umbrellas if I had to find any down sides. Also, stock up on groceries on the way as it is pretty remote and there aren't any options for food once you've arrived.

We will be back and will stay much longer next time!

I own here. Never a minute of buyer regret. Our kids and grandkids love it here. Mrs. Me spends the whole summer. Christmas is great out here. Every long weekend. I don’t have our unit in the renter pool. The location is more rural than urban. Mostly very quiet. Very family friendly. Walks. Swimming. Boating. Dinner on the deck. Perfect all around.

The resort property itself is quite beautiful and has a lot of amazing lake views and places to relax. Unfortunately it seems like they don’t really make much of an effort to cater to the vacation rentals. Our unit was quite dirty and in disrepair, with dirty dishes, dirty floors, ripped bath towels, etc. As the units are all individually owned, it seems the quality of your stay is somewhat dependant on the particular unit you get and who the owner is and whether or not they actually care about the unit and furnishings. With regard to the other amenities on site, there is no signage anywhere on the property, and it was very difficult to find many of the amenities such as the glass elevator, rock tunnel, various pools, and garbage facilities. Also, 3 of 4 hot tubs I tested out were ice cold. Based on my actual experience I would honestly give my stay approximately one star, but like I said the resort property itself is quite stunning right on the lake with the various waterfront spots to sit and relax, so nature itself saved our stay. And luckily our 4 year old didn’t mind splashing around in the cold hot tub.

We spent five nights at Outback in July. The units we wanted weren't available so we ended up in one of the Trout Lake Townhomes. The townhomes are clearly the lowest tier on the resort but were generally nice but I would describe them are the bare minimum. The unit would sleep 6 and has place settings for that many, only had 2 bath towels and 4 pool towels. The "what to expect" email did warn that there wouldn't be any beach towels so we had extra with us but it felt cheap.

The resort property is nice with 2 pools and useable beach. We were able to SUP directly from the property which was nice. The pools were crowded and it wasn't always easy to get a seat, let alone any shade, although the lower pool gets plenty of late afternoon shade.

Getting to the property is a bit of a journey but I liked the more remote feeling away from the crowds of the city. It was a short trip up the shore to beaches in the provincial park though. We would probably return again but would try to plan further in advance to secure a villa.

What a hidden gem. We stayed in the three bed Trout Lake townhome and it was perfect access to the tennis courts and pool. We will definitely plan to come back and spend more time using the amenities. Super family oriented dog friendly quiet community. Can't wait to do more next time!!
