Nous avions pu avoir une reservation à 19h45 seulement mais réservé la veille. Nous nous sommes rendus pour la traversée de 15h30.Super accueil. On nous a mis en liste d'attente.À 14h30 ,nous avancions pour embarquer. Avec le numéro de notre reservation du soir tout a été très simple.Personnel vraiment très gentil.Magnifique traversée!

This ferry service between South Baymouth and Tobermory is highly recommended. However, it's important to make a reservation well in advance, even if you plan to board on foot, by bicycle, or with a car, especially during busy times. The trip lasts around two hours and offers lovely sightseeing opportunities. It's an awesome experience, especially if you haven't been on a larger ferry for vehicles and passengers before. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the islands in Georgian Bay.

The ferry operates on schedule, and the ship is well-maintained and kept clean. The floors and bathrooms are tidy and hygienic. Onboard, there's a cafeteria and a bar serving mainly local Canadian beers, priced at $6 each. Payment can be made in cash or by card. While the beverage options are limited, the service is fast and reliable. The ferry can accommodate vehicles of all sizes and shapes, including RVs and tractor trailers.

There's an upper deck with plenty of benches and chairs, allowing you to relax and soak in the beautiful views as you pass by numerous small islands. The cruise is known for its punctuality, so it's recommended to arrive at least half an hour before your scheduled boarding time to ensure a smooth experience.

This is a very nice ferry between South Baymouth and Tobermory. However, you must reserve your access many days in advance even if you are boarding on foot or by bicycle, especially in high season. The trip lasts about two hours and offers nice sightseeing.

Great service!
It’s amazing to watch this incredible crew work like a clock. Not a minute delay!

Be aware that due to the COVID there is no food services, and , unfortunately, even bottle refill is out of order.
Everything is super clean and the team sanitizes and do all precautions necessary.

We enjoyed though beautiful views of both Tobermory and South Baymouth.

I very much so enjoyed getting to be on this ferry for my family vacation last year. It was an enjoyable short ride with a cute little store and restaurant in it.

We were headed east on the Trans Canada Hwy over (north of) the Great Lakes to Toronto, ON. In lieu of going through Sudbury, ON, we decided to take the ferry from Manitoulin Island.

If you are looking to break up your trip to southern Ontario I highly recommend taking the Owen Sound Transportation ferry from South Baymouth.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They do leave a small amount of "walk on's" but there were people waiting first thing in the morning so if you're leaving it to the last minute, consider staying at the Huron Motor Lodge right across the road.

We were riding motorcycles and it was cold and wet. Sailing on the ferry was a nice break from the bad weather. Being rocked gently by the waves, and the chicken pot pie from the cafeteria really hit the spot. Very nice experience and we will do it again.
