Worst school i’ve ever been to. Kids there are rude and annoying. Lots of bullying, harassing, stealing and fighting in the hallways to the point where they should be put in detention or even suspended but the teachers do nothing to help, the teachers were mostly supporting and helping the bullies. Poor environment and education, didnt learn a single thing going to that school. If you are planning on going to this school I suggest you not to.

I went here for grade 7-8 and a week or two of grade 9 before switching. I was there from 2016-2019 while mr Reardon was principal. In that time I was bullied harassed and had rumours spread about me. No one did anything to help. The school didn’t do anything and I mean anything to help with the spread of rumours and then because of rumours someone else had made searched through my stuff and recommended I STAY PUT OF SCHOOL FOR A BIT. I was beat up and punched even after I was recovering from a surgery. I was constantly harassed and had no help from the principal or school no one was suspended for attacking me multiple times on school property. Fights broke out in the hall and I was hit in the head with a locker door because two people were fighting I still have a pain in that ear that has not gone away. This school has caused trauma that has caused me to wake up yelling curses at my bullies even though I have not been there for years. I do not understand how Mr. Reardon was still principal of rocky lake junior high I believe and now in citadel. This school and people have caused me issues which I still suffer from. I regret going there and all the bullying caused me to start feeling suicidal. Did the school help? No they called the cops and went through my belongings because someone thought it was funny to spread rumours. Thankyou Oxford for ruining me.

This school is pretty good I went here and they know me down at the office as ice girl. It's is a very inclusive school have a gsa and equity team. But one thing that is a con is that they only put more enforce rules about race and equality now. But overall a good school. Best teachers being Mr. Surette and Mrs. Morisson

Good + kind kids from my experience as a neighbour. But the city needs to provide better infrastructure. The streets around the school are not safe and would require speed limit enforcement and speed bumps. I am worried that one of the kids will get hit one day. Also, there need to be more trash cans around the school. Kids migrate between McDonalds et al + the school during breaks. They litter a lot, also because there are no bins.

The staff at the musical instrument rental are friendly and helpful. Their prices are more than reasonable. Despite it was in October when the school string program had begun, there were still violins available for rental and good ones, too.

Oxford School is a fine school. It offers classes from Grades 1-12, for english, and french. A band and orchaestra program (Gr. 5-9 i think). A turn off I could immediately think of, is the fact that the school may not be up to the cleanliness of other schools; lacking in some rooms, and the fact that the school is old in general. Education, and student experiences depend on the year, the teachers, and the students, so I won’t detail my take.

I just graduated from oxford and I can singlehandely say it's the worst school. The secretary is so old and dusty I was suprised to see her still breathing today! Ms Thompson is her name btw. Being welcomed by her is like being welcomed to hell, which in fact what oxford is. Don't even get me started on the ignorant, oblivious Mr Reardon. Last year I was deprived on the thing I worked most for, the grade nine trip two days before we were leaving so I would most definitely NOT recommend this prejudice, hateful, revolting, awful, nasty insufferable school. Show your children you love them and want a great future by sending them to a much better school, take this from my experience as a student, hope this helps 🙂
