The old lady at the Market who was the casheir was so grumpy and didn't even bother to look at me or answer my hi ( which i found so rude). I just purchased my cookie and sandwich and got out .
Pacific point Market, you need to work on your customer service and hire better staff.

As we were staying nearby, we shopped at the Pacific Point Market. The lady on the 'meat' counter was fantastic. As we had a 'microwave' in our accommodation, we thought that some chicken pieces with some coleslaw would be perfect. Not a problem as she said that she would heat the chicken up in her oven.
What fantastic and so friendly service.
We ate the food, with some BC red wine, from our balcony overlooking the sea, watching Orcas play, Humpback Whales glide gently by and some seals. Perfect end to ANOTHER Perfect Day in BC. Is British Columbia the most friendly place in the World ❤️

We stayed here for one night during a week-long British Columbia road trip. First, the view from our suite was spectacular: from our large, picture-frame windows, we could see the crystal blue Georgia Strait and the green, green mountains of Texada Island. The suite was spacious (2 bedrooms, a good-sized bathroom, a kitchen, dining room, living room, and a porch), relatively clean, modern (open-ish floor plan with tall ceilings), conveniently located, quiet, and filled with light during the day. We didn't know what to expect given that it's above a grocery store, but we were pleasantly surprised. Another plus is that it has a free in-unit washer and dryer, which was very helpful. ||My only complaints are that some of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty, the couch could be more thoroughly vacuumed (the crevices had crumbs), and there were a few tiny flies inside (a previous guest may have left the door open and let them in). ||But those complaints pale in comparison to the all the positives. This place is a steal, and we would recommend staying here.

Prices have went up on deli items recently prompting me to reconsider where I buy my lunches. I really dont appreciate paying almost $9 for a sandwhich that was made and refridgerated 2 days earlier. While still edible and likely safe to eat, there are better options that are freshly made. Thinking on going to subway instead.

Consider putting a discount sticker on your sandwiches that are 1 day or more old. 10% for day old and 20% or higher for food hitting the 2day mark or beyond. You'll sell more and rotate your stock quicker!

Best place to stay in Powell River, hands down. Able to check in until the downstairs Market closes at 10pm. Extremely clean and brand new rooms in a safe neighborhood. My family got the 3 bedroom suite for a night. There were many nice touches- like a heated bathroom floor. Very comfy beds. The only problem is the 3rd bedroom has no window, therefore it could be dangerous if there ever was a fire. All in all I recommend to anyone staying in Powell River, definitely the highlight stay of our vacation. 👍

The Pacific Point Market has everything you will ever need for food supplies on your weekend travel adventure. Fresh Meats, Fruits and Bakery items are in ample supply!

It's my favorite place to stay in Powell River. I have stayed here three times, and the apartments are always super clean. The location is a little bit further from town, but they have a grocery store downstairs. The staff are very friendly at the store. Highly recommended!
