The Kayak Glow Tour with Pacifica Paddle Sports was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease, explaining everything clearly and ensuring we were comfortable in the kayaks. Paddling out under the night sky was already magical, but the real highlight was seeing the water light up with every stroke thanks to the bioluminescence, it felt like gliding through a sea of stars. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip fun and safe. It’s peaceful, surreal, and something you truly have to experience at least once. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique adventure in nature!

Exploring Schwartz Bay and the Gulf Islands by kayak was an incredible experience. Our tour guide, E-J, was exceptional! She was friendly and very knowledgeable about islands, the marine life and wildlife we saw during the tour. Our tour group had a variety of ability levels so she made sure to do an orientation to start, and adjusted the tour along the way so that all members of the tour could get the full experience. The 2-hour morning tour was just the right amount of time on the water to explore during low tide. Our group was able to see lots of purple starfish, jellyfish, an eagle, seals, and an otter. This tour is a must during your visit to Vancouver Island. I would highly recommend!

Jack and EG were the perfect guides. We had a mixed age group of people on our tour and the guides handled the children with patience and care without making it feel like a “summer camp” outing as they told stories and answered questions. The knowledge of the guilds pertaining to the Glow Tour was outstanding. Highly recommend this paddle for all experience levels. The sloping dock made entering and exiting the kayaks so easy. Just a lovely night!

We loved our guided 2 hour kayak tour around Brentwood Bay. Highly recommend doing a guided tour instead of renting your own kayak. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and showed us more than we would have discovered on our own. Such a beautiful area, and adaptable for all skill levels. We did a relaxing kayak tour through Brentwood bay and it was so much fun! It was such a great way to celebrate with the family for my mother’s 65th birthday. We had so much fun, and our guide EJ was awesome!!!

We saw lots of wildlife, and enjoyed looking for all the underwater creatures, like all the different kinds of starfish. We can’t wait to come back and try some of the other tours like the nighttime Glow Tour in the summer!

cannot recommend this location enough. the bay is teeming with wildlife and we were able to spot jellyfish, starfish, and seals! They taught us how to kayak efficiently so that we’d be able to cover good ground and we were off to the races. a very short trip from butchart gardens, it made for an excellent fun activity to follow a day in the flowers.

We did Glow tour and it was magical, we enjoyed every minute! Our guides Jack and Abby were very welcoming, friendly and it was clearly seen that they are passionate about nature in BC. Saw a curious seal very close to our kayak.

The glow tour was the perfect finale to our stay in Victoria. Before the real magic even began, we saw starfish feeding, endless moon jellies and a beautiful sunset. The bioluminescence is like fairy dust IRL…never seen anything like it! E-J and Cindy were incredibly kind and shared their wealth of knowledge with us along the way.
