The rooms were much better than I expected for the price! First room smelled of smoke but the front desk switched us quickly and easily. Very close to medicine hat college, which was the focus of our visit. Definitely would stay again.

This is an amazing place for 1 night stops, this review is based on workers who need a place to stay. The rooms are your standard motel, the building itself is clean and the staff are nice and helpful. Good area near anything you'd need if you don't order delivery. Really good price for what you get regarding extended stay.

RACISTS! Decided to stop in here for a drink (Pepsi as me and my friend are sober) and for a second I thought the bar tender and waitress might be some really ghetto Kenny Roger’s/Dolly Parton act.. but nothing that cool.. these people are RACIST. It took me a minute to pick up on it because being a white guy im not used to it, but the second I realized why they asked my friend for Id (she’s 45) and then denied us a tab for to pops. Saying “I don’t know if he would go for it”(the bartender). And if that wasn’t enough to deal the deal. The low life’s were looking over at us shaking our head when I politely asked for a second to transfer money… because ya know.. I’ve never been made to pay for a fountain pop before the waitress would set it in the table. After my embarrassment and humiliated friend went outside I made sure to tell these low life’s that they are racists and aught to be ashamed of themselves. Disgusting to see people behave this way in 2024 in this multicultural country. Shame on you for the way you disrespected my poor friend. Never in my life….

This is by far the best place we stayed during our trip through Canada. Friendly staff, the appearance is very clean and neat, the rooms are brand newly renovated, great clean bathroom, great bed, fully equipped with coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and a very reliable high speed WiFi. The price was unbeatable low, and the quality of this place is top notch. We loved it here. The perfect place to stay when you travel on the Trans-Canada Highway 1.

Sehr unfreundliche Dame am Empfang, absolut nicht hilfsbereit und auch nicht kooperativ. Wir wurden sogar von ihr angegangen weil ich zu meiner frau in meiner Landessprache gesprochen habe. Die Haushälterin war sehr nett und konnte uns helfen.

First of all, for $57 you can't complain. Sure, the building is very old (built1958) but it is relatively clean, very quiet, awesome location and it has everything you need. The bedding is clean and beds made. For $57 it's friggin great 👍

Terrible experience at the Park Lane Motel - Discriminatory practices against Muslim guests

I recently tried to book a room at the Park Lane Motel in Medicine Hat, but was denied a reservation simply because I have a Muslim-sounding name. The receptionist made assumptions about my character and refused to take my booking, stating that she didn't think I would be "the nicest person." This is a clear case of religious discrimination that has no place in the hospitality industry.

As a paying customer, I should not have been turned away due to my faith or ethnicity. The staff at the Park Lane Motel displayed prejudiced and biased behavior, making unfair judgements without ever meeting me in person. This type of discrimination is unacceptable and I would urge anyone, regardless of their background, to avoid this motel.

If I lived locally, I would have filed a formal complaint with the authorities. However, since I am not from the area, I was not able to take that step. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be aware of the discriminatory practices at the Park Lane Motel so that no one else has to endure such unfair treatment.

I would give this establishment zero stars if I could. Avoid at all costs unless you want to risk being turned away due to your name
