Partridge Island is an awesome in-and-out hiking trail, approximately 1.5 kms. Park near the beautiful and Historic Ottawa House, and walk towards Partridge Island. Depending on the tides, you can comb the beach for pretty rocks and shells. The trail on Partridge Island has information posted throughout. There is a look off at the end of the trail, a perfect spot for photos and binoculars!

Amazing day! Found a few really cool minerals. Made sure the tides were out and gonna be out for awhile before we hiked on the rocks pretty far from where we parked.

We stopped here to see if we could find any unique stones or minerals while in Parrsboro. You will want to go when it is low tide to see the beach and hopefully find something interesting. Please keep in mind this is a protected beach so your only allowed to pick rocks that are on the surface and not allowed to dig on the beach.

The colours of the stones on this beach are something to see. I have been on many beaches but never one with such colourful combinations of stones. You could easily pass the day here just looking down at the rocks as you walk the beach. You never know what you might find! Definitely worth the visit if your in the Parrsboro area 👍👍.

A great hiking trail for an afternoon trip. About 40 minutes to the end of the trail and back. Some steep climbs but the views are worth it.

Wow beautiful place, under 2k to the beautiful coast. Awesome views. Trail starts off uphill for 0.5k. Worth the work out

A really neat spot with great beach combing and a hike with a nice view. We came as the tide was going out and got to witness some spectacular "bubbling tides" (air being pushed up through volcanic rock).

We found some nice rocks here, go right from the building... We didn't find anything special on the left beach and it's very inclined.
