So I purchased these Runners from Payton and Buckle in Pitt Meadows and after wearing them for 2 hours the right side insole started to Bunch under my toe and eventually lifted. My mom took some contact glue and tried to glue it down. I am not from the Lower Mainland so I gave the store a call to tell them what happened. They told me that because my mom glued the shoe, it voided my warranty but if something happened with the left shoe then to bring the shoes in. Upon return home a few days later I wore the shoes again. As bad luck would have it, the left insole lifted as well. I put them back in the box with the receipt and was returning to the Lower Mainland in a few days. When I return to the store, the manager tried to help me. She had to call the store owner to decide on the options I had regarding the shoes. I had two options. Option 1 was they would give me $15 to go to my hometown Shoemaker and have the Shoemaker glue down the insoles. Option 2 was to leave the shoes with P&B and they would have their shoe maker repair the shoes. I purchased these shoes to wear for the spring. I feel like I would be without my shoes with both options. I did not know when I would be back to the Lower Mainland to pick up the shoes and the owner refused to ship them, saying that shipping was too expensive these days. I also feel like if I had to take the shoes to my local Shoemaker I don't know how long it would have been before I would have had my shoes back. I mentioned to the manager that neither option was convenient for me and that I would like a full refund on the shoes. The manager of the shoe store told me that it wasn't an option. She did tell me that I could call the owner at home if I wanted to discuss that with him.I left with the 15$. I feel that this is very poor customer service. The shoes were $145 with tax and I feel that the quality for the shoes was not there, neither was the customer service. I will not be buying my summer sandals at Payton and Buckle or any shoe for that matter, nor will I refer any friends or family. I will continue to shop at John Fluevogs, who has excellent customer service and top notch quality.

Great shoe selection but the two ladies who work at their Pitt Meadows location are unwelcoming and borderline rude. They don’t greet you when you walk in, don’t proactively ask you if you’d like help. Disappointing

Excellent selection have bought 10 pairs over 2 years, hard to walk in and not want something. Staff is great at getting your size and will bring it from another store the next day, and you don't pay till they arrive and you are happy with them.sales people leave you alone with all your selections and are not pushing you to make a decision

I love their selection, especially after Ronson's went out of business last year, they became one of the few local shops that carries a great selection of comfortable shoes. What they lack, was customer service. They would get you your size to try on, however, if you end up not buying anything (in my case I mentioned I was disappointed as I was hoping the shoes would be more supportive), the lady gave me a look and said well this selection is just like this. This wasn't the first time I felt like I wasn't welcome after trying something on and decided not to get the shoes.

The shop looked nice, and the selection was great. I got zero service though 😕. Both workers were with other clients when I walked in, but I didn't even get a greeting. I knew what shoe I was in there to try to I had it in my hand and waited patiently. Site for ten minutes and got no acknowledgement. When one of the attendants was going to get more shoe for their client in the back I figured that she'd acknowledge me and offer to get the shoe I was holding. Nope. After that I put the shoe back and left. Super bummed and disappointed.

Great looking shoes and nice selection. However, I had the same experience the other two ladies wrote about regarding the lack of customer service. No greeting whatsoever and I was in the store for about 10 minutes. So so disappointed. I left feeling disheartened ... And I made a special trip just to go to this store.

Visited the store on Saturday March 3, 2018. There were 3 staff members working - one actively helping a customer and two others behind the counter. My sister and I went in looking for shoes for her - there was another lady browsing the selection at the same time. At no point did any of the sales staff approach us, acknowledge us and or speak to us. There were several other customers who entered the store after we did and they were all approached and advised of the sale currently going on (we only found out from overhearing these conversations). Regardless of the fact that my sister picked up and showed interest (attempted eye contact) in multiple pairs of shoes we were completely ignored. We spent 10-15 minutes in the store and ended up leaving empty handed - budget was unlimited and multiple shoes would have been purchased however we will never return to the store after the way we were ignored during our visit.

Came in looking for specific Birkenstocks. When I walked in, 3 people (including employee) were standing around all talking about someone's funeral. Nobody acknowledged me coming into the store, continued chatting. Felt really uncomfortable.... Will find another place for my purchase.

Have been shopping here for years. Absolutely the best shoe store! My favorite brands, great styles and the very best staff! Yes, you get what you pay for but your feet will thank you. These are well made, comfortable, stylish shoes and boots!
