My husband and I ended up staying 3 nights for a friend's wedding. When we first arrived we were told we were unable to park there and had to park downtown. That was fine- the next morning we almost got towed and when we asked the host where we could park, he said that we should park in the driveway and that he told us earlier that we could (if he scrolled up on his messages he would see that he was contradicting). Secondly, there was NO HEAT IN THE ROOM. There were baseboards but no thermostats. When asked about it we were told that the only heat available was the tiny little space heater that could hardly felt sitting next to it. It was -22 degrees on Saturday night. The listing noted that there was a bathtub, a washer and a dryer. None of this was included. There was no kitchenette, silverware or most things that were noted in the listing. I'm not one to post a bad review, but this truly was the worst place we have ever stayed and I deeply regret the money we spent on this place.

Ps: my apologies for assuming heating would be a basic necessity. Didn't realize I had to pick the room with the heat included🙄

Stopped in to sampling the local vineyards with my partner between during a Halifax conference. Loved the location and the valley! Rooms were cute but a little dusty. Great for a quick getaway.

While the location is superb the host is not. I understand hosts have rules, and they are available upon booking, however the rigidity with which I was met was needlessly harsh, in my opinion.

The host failed to properly maintain the entrance to the unit causing me to fall down the stairs and badly injure my hand. The insult to injury is when the host backhandedly blamed me for the accident (see photo attached). The entrance had no exterior light, the steps were very icy, improperly maintained, and did not meet National Building Code which was confirmed by the planning department of Wolfville NS (hand railings needed for all sets of stairs that contain three or more instances of rise).

There is virtually no heat in the unit. While there is a baseboard radiator system there is no way to use it. The only source of heat was a mini-split above the door that was beyond inadequate for the space. The bathroom was roughly 14C in the morning since there is zero heat source in it.

While the host did eventually give me a full refund to compensate for my injury his negligence is not excused. Jeremy is a person who I suspect is only kind as long as you don’t step out of the very clear lines he has painted. He does not bring the communal friendly energy that Airbnb was built on. He has clearly brought his money-hungry west-coast energy to the small town of Wolfville, NS and cares not for the guests, but for the bottom dollar, cutting corners wherever possible.

This was the cutest place to stay in!! I came here for a weekend in Wolfville with my mom and we loved it! The loft was so cozy. I felt like I was staying at a cottage away from home! The pillows and sheets were super duper soft. Everything was clean. We had everything we needed there and definelty enjoyed having some coffee and twinnings tea in the morning 🙂 best part was also how close it was to everything! My mom and I walked down the street and were able to check out many different spots on Main Street for live music, drinks, and food!

Great location, great room. Room was pristine and clean, bed was comfortable, and check in/out was seamless. Washers and dryers on site for extended stays, air conditioning, and some limited dishes available for coffee (with dish soap!)

Great stay, and will definitely be back! 🙂 thank you for making our overnight stay in Wolfville awesome!

I would like to say DO NOT STAY HERE, But everybody gets their freak on in their own personal way, so it's up to you. It looks cozy and quaint from the outside...but wait.
There is no parking, no elevator, and.. no TV in some of the rooms. I could put up with that but not with what happened.
I have been told that I have a bit of a gift of sensing past experiences in places and things. The first (and only) night we stayed there, there were many, many mysterious bumps and noises coming from God knows where and I got the sense that this place had an Amityville Horror, Lizzie Borden, crossed with The Shining ...kind of history. I can't put my finger on exactly what happened there. But it was something horribly horribly bad.
But hey, other than that. .

Really enjoyed my stay at the Flamingo. The loft room was great, unique design and very comfortable. Clean and well appointed. Location in the heart of Wolfville that is probably the best in town. All around great stay, will for sure book again.

It was like reading an old and tattered book. The story was pleasant, fun. While out side a thunderous wind blew off the Bay of Fundy and every half hour a freight train rolled by.

I think if it wasn’t so hot and humid and you didn’t need the air conditioner and you turned off the fridge and the bed wasn’t quite so hard…

The exterior of the building needs some landscaping assistance. But the room was cheery and fun. It is obvious the host is trying to please.
