Beautiful trail along Fraser river/ Pitt river! This flat gravel path is a part of trans Canada trail and good for (dog) walking and bike riding. If you do a whole thing between the two bridges, it would be about 11k one way.

Really nice water view and cranberry field view along the way. Also enjoyed watching planes and helicopters taking off and landing near the airport.

Passing by after work . It's a very quiet and peaceful passway .
Contrast of Winter Colors . There are lots of business offices nearby which make it easy for the people to use their free time to walk and free their spirit.
Not enough space for parking.

Nice and clean neighbourhood with many families living in the area. Beautiful townhouses all around. Good seawall trails with natural view. Lots of greens great for picnic. Free parking for 2 hours. Cute small businesses with nice options: creamery, cafe, flower shop, chicken, barber, photography store.

I live close to here but never miss a chance to go for a bike ride on the dikes. So serene and beautiful area to explore. Do the dike trail loop and you won't be disappointed!

This (mostly) beautiful flat gravel trail runs along the Fraser and Pitt Rivers and is part of the Trans Canada Trail network. It’s the busiest section of the Pitt Meadows dyke trail system, thanks to nearby townhomes, industrial areas, and its convenient links to Harris Road and Airport Way. Perfect for dog walking, cycling, and lunch break strolls, it’s a popular spot for locals and workers alike. The trees provide lots of shade on hot summer afternoons, and the cottonwood trees provide food for yellow swallowtail butterflies in the warmer months.
The new Amazon fulfillment warehouse (2024) has definitely changed the landscape and aesthetic and character of the area, increasing the traffic and litter.

Similar to the dyke trails in Richmond, South Vancouver, and Port Coquitlam, this route offers stunning views of the river, cranberry fields, and surrounding wetlands. If you complete the full section between the two bridges, it’s about 10–12 km one way, with bus routes like the Rapid Bus or 701.

Kids will love watching planes and helicopters near the airport, as well as tugboats guiding logs along the river. In the fall, you might spot salmon swimming upstream or even hear a beaver slapping its tail in the water.

For me exploring a park is very therapeutic. This particular place is very quite n calm. Clean and broad walking, running trails. Along side walkways is this streaming lake/ river n the sound of it will make u feel like on a beach.
Too much mosquitoes so dont wear tank tops n shorts like me. Better to be covered even if it is a hot day. Just enjoy this observation deck or maybe practice ur yoga here.

Beautiful, well-maintained Fraser River walking/cycling shared trail. Dogs on leash are welcome. The riverfront path is 10 kilometres - one way - from the Shoreline townhomes to the Pitt River Bridge. It’s a forested area so plenty of shade to find along the way. Lots to explore. Enjoy!
