Poolside Retreat - Peachland, British Columbia

We have been booking the Poolside Cottage every spring for some years now. Its central location in the Okanagan Valley makes it a perfect home base for our hiking pursuits.
The amenities inside the cottage ensure a comfortable stay-at-home experience when taking a day off from activities, or riding out a bit of weather.
The neighborhood is quiet, and taking a walk through the residential/pastoral streets in the mornings or evenings is a pure joy.
The owners are accessible for help whenever needed, while communication with them is prompt and professional. Full privacy is given otherwise.
The property has a large games/play area for kids, and the cottage has books, games and puzzles as well. A collection of maps, local visitor guide maps and brochures will offer activity ideas when running out of things to do.
As for vineyards, Peachland has only Hainle at this time, but Lake Country, Okanagan Falls and Naramata (and everything in between) can be reached in less than an hour.

Beautiful location in the scenic Okanagan valley : orchards & vineyards all around, Peachland village & lake just below with all amenities : supermarket, cafes & restaurants…
Poolside suite : quiet, well equipped, spacious, extremely clean & comfortable.
Nice private terrace, bbq area & very close to pool.
Gill & Ray will go out of their way to help you with all your queries & anything you might need.
Truly recommend.

A wonderful cottage for a family getaway in Peachland. Well equipped kicthen, comfortable beds, a nice private patio to enjoy outdoor summer dining and a awesome salt water pool to cool off! Walkable neighbourhood to go for a stroll in the evening. A well appointed location with a short drive to the beach in Peachland, wineries, farmers market. Gill and Ray are very welcoming and gracious hosts, who are very knowledgeable about the events and venues in the area. We are a family of four from Victoria BC and have been returning to enjoy Gill and Ray's place for several summers.

What an amazing one of a kind experience. It felt like I had an oasis all to myself, nestled in the heart of BC. The extra decoration touches and cleanliness were so beautiful. The hospitality couldn’t have been any better. Hosts Jill and Ray really know how to make their guests feel completely comfortable. The extra games outside like volleyball were really fun too. 10/10 recommend. I’ll be back!!

Love, love, love the Poolside Retreat. We have stayed every summer for the better part of the last decade with our kids and couldn't ask for anything better in the area. The carriage house accommodation is fantastic for a family - two bedrooms, full sized kitchen & eating area, two sitting areas, bathroom with full sized washer and dryer and covered outside eating area with BBQ. All of that is yours exclusively plus there's a pool to share with other guests and green space / games area for badminton! Ray are amazing hosts - always available while giving you your privacy. Incredible overall experience. Highly recommend as long as you don't book the weeks we like to stay 🙂

This place is brilliant! We go every year and thoroughly enjoy the pool, the yard games. It is located centrally in the Okanagan between Penticton and Kelowna in a small but lively town, beautiful lake and swimming bay to enjoy, lots of restaurants. The suites themselves are really clean, comfortable and spacious. Would definiately recommend for couples and family!

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Many thanks to them for making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean and well kept. Even had a nice game of pool during the stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Close to grocery store, etc. down in Peachland. The place is fairly close to Kelowna or Penticton. Easy drive. The outdoor pool and area were great and private.
