To the Owners of ‘Way West Water Taxi Service’

I had the unique privilege of having Dave White as my water taxi driver to and from Frederick Arms over the Christmas Holidays. It was remarkable both times.

Dave is not only a safe and careful driver, he is a storyteller having years of wisdom in the Campbell River area. He knew all about the places along the way and was kind enough to share his stories and knowledge with us, your customers.

He gave me some much needed advice about the location where I was staying at and when I ended up coming home early he was quick in his support of this decision.

He was friendly and kind to everyone. His friendliness inspired us to want to help carry the bags on and off of the taxi, as a way to be of help to Dave.

It was so much fun - I felt very happy after both experiences with Dave as our driver.

I thought you, the owners, would want to know this - I have hired many people over the years in my career and a person like Dave is a real treasure.

So thank you Water Taxi Company for your wisdom in hiring such a wonderful person in Dave.

I used Way West to get from Savary Island to Campbell River with 4 little kids, a handful of bikes and so much luggage. The skipper was incredibly helpful (wish I had her name) and accommodating and overall the experience was top notch (including the booking process over the phone). Will definitely use again next year.

We booked on last minute for a Grizzly Tour up to the Klite River in the Toba Inlet. It was an excellent experience. Our guide/captain Dave was very knowledgeable and experienced. We saw many bears up close, countless eagles and seals and a few whales along the way as a nice added bonus. Perfect rainy, fall day activity. This tour is nice because it allows you to actually get out and view the bears from numerous platforms above the river providing excellent photo opportunities. Small groups and competitive pricing make this a great tour.
