Good experience, but parking issues

I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham and had a generally good experience. The staff were polite, and the rooms were fairly clean. The hotel offered good value for the price.

However, there were some significant issues with the parking. The parking lot wasn't monitored, which led to some problems. Some guests would back into parking spots, and their exhaust would create a lot of fumes that would get sucked into our room through the heating/cooling system. Additionally, some people were smoking weed in the parking lot near our room, and the smoke would also seep into our room through the AC/heating system.

Another issue was that there weren't always enough parking spots available, especially if you arrived late.

Despite these issues, the hotel itself was decent, and the staff were friendly. If you're willing to overlook the parking issues, the Ramada by Wyndham might be a good option for you. Just be aware of the potential problems, and maybe request a room in a different location if possible.

Everything was much better than expected. Love the laminate flooring in the room. Makes it much cleaner than most hotels' carpet rooms. They deserve much higher rating. Great location

A Nightmarish Stay – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs

Before Check-In:
From the very beginning, this hotel was a disaster. It was impossible to get in touch with them. I called countless times over 24 hours to ask urgent questions about my booking, and not once did anyone answer the phone. I also sent multiple emails and got absolutely no response. It’s as if they don’t even care about their guests before they even arrive.

Upon Arrival:
What followed was even worse. When I checked into my room, I was horrified to find stained sheets that clearly hadn’t been changed. I don’t even know how they could think that was acceptable. To make it worse, the TV remote didn’t work. I called the front desk—no answer. I called again—still no answer. I had to drag myself all the way downstairs (a huge inconvenience since my room was far away) just to get any attention.

And then, as if the situation couldn’t get any worse, at 9 AM, housekeeping barged into our room without warning, while we were still in bed, and invaded our privacy like it was no big deal. Absolutely no apology from anyone at the front desk—nothing. The complete disregard for our privacy and comfort was appalling.

We contacted Expedia, hoping they could help us resolve some of the issues we had with our experience. They followed up with the hotel, but all we received was a response from the property manager that seemed more concerned about protecting their money than addressing the utter lack of service and hospitality. It was clear they cared more about their bottom line than their guests' well-being.

Final Thoughts:
I rarely write negative reviews, but this place was so disgustingly bad that I feel it’s my duty to warn anyone thinking of booking here. From the filthy, unkempt rooms and unprofessional staff to the complete failure to answer the phone before and during our stay (not to mention the ignored emails from paying guests), this place has zero respect for basic guest needs. My entire stay was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away if you value your comfort, time, and sanity.

Got to this hotel and was met by a big line of people waiting, 2 of which were complaining about dirty rooms. I thought oh well let's give it a try it can't be that bad, how I was wrong. When we got into our room it had not been cleaned at all, to floor was dusty and had someone's clipped toenails on the floor. The fridge was ghastly and fit for the dumpster.

I spoke to reception and she instructed the security guard to inspect the room with me, he agreed it was not acceptable.

The rest of the rooms are probably as bad so I decided to check out and try my luck at another hotel.

But the good point is that the lady on the front desk was most helpful and apologetic. She agreed to issue a full refund of the room and showed me evidence that it was because of my complaint. She was working very hard to deal with a big line of customers on a busy good Friday, so I can't complain about customer service.

However if the hotel was to clean this place up it would be a great spot to stay but it's not currently the best

Tried calling numerous times before my reservation to try and ask about rooms and no one ever answered. Sent emails, same thing. Called the national number and they couldn’t get through either. |When I arrived my room was on the second floor with no lift and I’m recovering from a knee injury so stairs are almost impossible. The girls at reception were very good about getting me a room that was on the main floor. |The room was nice, big and clean. All very dated but it’s an old hotel and a reasonable rate for New Year’s Eve. |I was awoken at 10:20 am to housekeeping opening my door to clean the room. Check out is at 11:00. |All in all it’s fine. If I had more money I would stay somewhere great but it was good enough for our night of parties!|* 5 stars for the front desk girls. |Lovely, pleasant and went above and beyond for me. 🥰 I’m very appreciative.
