Bon choix pour une nuit avant de reprendre le ferry, hôtel bien placé. Dix minutes du centre ville à pieds et 3 minutes du ferry. Très très grande chambre avec jacuzzi à prix raisonnable. Calme. Personnel sympathique. Seul bémol, petit déjeuner pas folichon... mais il est inclus dans le prix ce qui devient rare, donc...

Le ramada est un établissement récent aux chambres spacieuses (avec kitchenettes) et au confort de très bon niveau. ||Il y a un bus de ligne régulier qui peut vous emmener au centre ville de Nanaimo mais nous vous recommandons d'avoir une voiture (parking gratuit à l'extérieur de l'hôtel).||Parmi les services proposés, il y a une laverie extrêmement pratique (machines à laver et sèche linge) quand on est en voyage itinérant.||Le wifi est gratuit et il y a aussi un petit business center avec imprimante. Le petit déjeuner continental est de bon niveau. Durant notre séjour sur l'Ile de Vancouver, cet établissement a représenté le meilleur rapport prix/prestations/confort.

Hôtel impeccablement tenu. Proche de la Marina en sortie de ville. Facile d'acces.Tres grandes chambres. Petit dejeuner offert présentant un large choix.||Je recommande cet hôtel pour une étape ou un court séjour.

I guess it depends what time you're there, & who is working.... I hope!
When arriving later in the evening/night shift people... I was NOT made to feel welcome. Not even a smile, etc. Then the same from the next person who came out... it wasn't like there was a problem - yet!
So, I left... it was late, but I still thought about checking out a lodge that was nearby. Glad I did. I was greeted with a smile & a relaxed friendly welcoming disposition - at the front desk. Cheaper, but the rooms were clean, stocked w/coffee, etc. CLOSER to the water!
MOSTLY, I am a woman who was travelling alone, & that I ended up leaving - so awful these people seemed - I couldn't believe it!

For a clean, safe and quiet night this motel was sufficient but not somewhere I'd return to. The whole place feels tired and like it's in desperate need of some TLC and a spruce up (even the garden beds surrounding the motel were overgrown and full of weeds). The room was clean but sheets are very thin and things overdue with fixing (e.g. swelling in the wood at the bottom of the bathroom door, old feeling). Breakfast was sufficient but nothing special. Everyone working at the motel were really friendly. Good for a cheaper stay but also away from the centre of town.
