This was the worst branded hotel stay I've ever had. We stayed in a family room after a late flight. The room was big enough but was dark and dank smelling. All of the furniture was from the 1990's and the beds were small and uncomfortable. The carpets were stained throughout the room, and the door would not shut on its own so we had to be careful of our secirity. The staff told us to park around back as there was limited parking at the front. Turns out the back doors are locked at 10 pm with no keyed entry. My daughter was on crutches and we had to walk across the lawn and ditch, or the long way around the entire building to get inside. Not accommodating at all. The "complementary" breakfast was the worst I've had. Limited warm options. The bread seemed old, there was only hard-boiled eggs, sausage bites, cheap potato chunks and... frozen vegetable medely. Wierd choice for breakfast. No thanks. Pepper for the eggs but no salt. Some cheap off-brand ketchup. Our table was dirty and one of our chairs broken. The breakfast just seemed like a weak attempt to get renters in rooms. The whole place felt like the owners are trying at not much but being cheap. I'll drive into Edmonton tired before I stay at this place again.

I stayed here for a night but the stay was horrible.
I booked a room with a kingsize bed and non-smoking room.
I was given that room but the smoke detector was covered with a bag and the room had a strong cigarette smell.
There was hair in the sink which clogged up the sink. The bed felt like it was only a plywood piece and hard, felt like no foam it and old.
Upon complaining I was told to email and the manager will compensate or credit me something. When I emailed they told me there was nothing wrong with the room and we gave you the room you requested.
I provided them proof of pictures but sad to say I wasn’t given anything and left hopeless. It’s an old hotel and would not recommend to stay here.

Staff at the front desk was pleasant. He upgraded us to a better room when we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Will stay again.

The room was clean and quiet, and room service was done every day. Breakfast was the standard toast, yogurt, cereal, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, and sausages. The hotel itself needs some updating, which is happening now as the carpets are being replaced. Overall, a good deal for the price.
