I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Ramada at Deer! From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. First of all, the room rates are incredibly affordable for the high-quality experience offered. The rooms themselves were spotless, with excellent bedding that made for a very comfortable night's sleep. Housekeeping did a fantastic job maintaining the space, ensuring everything was neat and tidy throughout my stay.

The reception team was friendly and efficient, providing quick service both at check-in and when responding to any requests or phone calls. If I needed anything, they were on it immediately, making sure everything was taken care of with minimal hassle.

One of the highlights was the breakfast – not only was it delicious, but the staff's hospitality made it even more enjoyable. It’s clear they prioritize customer satisfaction and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

For those looking to stay active, the gym and pool facilities were excellent, well-maintained, and a great way to unwind. The hotel also offers top-notch security, so I felt completely safe and at ease during my stay.

Overall, Ramada at Red deer offers an exceptional experience with great amenities, outstanding service, and affordable rates. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area

This place is seriously out dated. Yes it was clean. Breakfast is fine. Served by workers whi ask what room youre in and write down what you chose to eat.. like inventory. but fine none the less. If your wanting a fancier or at least date night impressive find somewhere else.

Breakfast is just cereal. Scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal packets, and juice or coffee, and waffles

I wish I took more room photos. We paid for a hot tub room for valentines day / family day long weekend.

I used the hot tub jacuzzi in our room and after it had brown like sludges on edge of tub. Like it was dirty grossed me out. Before I had gone to pool with kids. I think it's just that dirty. Didn't use it again.

The room has damages to the wall and ceiling. The toilet cover is worn as well. Hide a bed is seriously uncomfortable. (Opened it for our 2 kids) we all slept in the king size bed which is comfortable.

The lamps, light fixtures, fake plant, furniture. Is old. Out dated. I'm talking it looks like it's been from the early 90s. Rooms seem to have very mix matched furniture. Different microwaves and fridges. Like cheap finds.. old yellow microwave.

Pool was fine water silde has motion sensor on. Hot tub was hot and working. No towels in pool area front desk brought some.. not enough for the amount of people there.

HOCKEY TOURNAMENT.. so in the dining area for breakfast parents were being loud next to our room and kids playing hockey in there.. till after 12am when other guests got mad. So kids running all over people laughing loud.

Above us it sounded like a vibrating noise or ball or something rolling or dragging noise for many hours. 6pm and 9pm and right at 8am.

Very convenient location just off highway 2. Close to many restaurants and even a golf sim place. Friendly staff who did their best with the aged facility. Free breakfast was a bonus. Rooms are dated and in need of renovation but were clean.

Rooms are dated but clean and they work. Comfy beds, three pillows instead of four is odd but not an issue. Staff are very friendly. But the breakfast is so bizarre. The food itself was the standard low quality but filling continental breakfast I’ve never seen a hotel breakfast that you couldn’t serve yourself? That was so freaking weird and made me feel so uncomfortable. It’s not very welcoming. Felt like I was being treated like a child.

Hotel was clean, rooms were clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast during the week has a omelette station - amazing! Stayed on top floor so no walking noises (people in our group stayed on first floor and heard heavy walking during their stay). Convenient location as it’s right off the #2 with easy access to shopping and other amenities. Room has fridge and microwave. Parking lot connects with Tim Hortons and restaurant/bar. The pizza side of the building had the best pasta I’ve eaten in awhile, the “meat” side didn’t get to try as I was with someone under 18 and their cutoff for service is 7:00 for those underage. Can’t complain about anything, their service and building were amazing for the price.

By far the worst experience I've had at a hotel. Found bed bugs in the room and smudge coming out of the hot tub in the room as well. Front desk worker was really rude when confronted about this and all was recorded from that interaction. Told me I was meeting the manager who ended up being the maintenance man who also ended up being a scam artist. Told me he'd give me a full refund for $60 cash. When I texted asking about the refund my number was blocked. I still have all the texts and videos and pictures of the bed bugs, sludge, and rude workers.

This hotel was great except the hot tub is not operational. I have stayed twice now (a year apart) and both times the hot tub wasn't running. I do feel the price was good and did compensate for that. Other than that I was very happy with the stay. They have a hot breakfast that was very good.

This property was chosen as the host property for our charity was chosen to provide casino volunteers. The vast majority were happy with their room and the included breakfast. The consensus was this property was perfect for our groups needs.
