My wife and I, living in Colorado, USA initially selected Randonnee Tours to plan for us a self-guided biking tour of Prince Edward Country, Ontario, Canada. Several months before the trip, my wife and I asked Randonnee if we could switch from that trip to their self-guided biking tour of the Loire Valley, France. Alexis, at Randonnee, was able to switch everything over without any issues and she were so great about everything. She canceled the Canadian reservations and made all the French reservations, kept us informed, answered all our questions, and everything worked out just as planned. We upgraded to e-bikes and the bikes were fully equipped as advertised and in great condition. Randonnee provided, in addition to written route instructions, the route instructions via the Ride with GPS app. Ride with GPS worked flawlessly and that is a game changer when it comes to self-guided biking in a foreign country. Randonnee also recommended getting a "quad lock" device to fix your phone to the handlebars and that worked perfectly. I would add that if you are traveling from the US to France, if possible, get a France based E-sim for your phone. The international Verizon phone plan did not have sufficient speed but the Holafly Esim plan work perfectly. Plus it is way cheaper than the Verizon plan. Pierre, our France Randonnee contact, was an absolute gem. He was with us to outfit the bikes and moved our luggage from hotel to hotel and also helped us when we had a minor mechanical issue with one bike. We highly recommend Randonnee and will be traveling with them again!

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Canadian Rockies. Our accommodations were great an dour choice of hikes gave us the ability to gage what we wanted to tackle each day. Robin provided information and history that brought this area alive. The scenery is unmatched, the prettiest I have ever seen.

We’ve had a number of great Randonnee Tours trips. We just returned from Spain where we did the Andalucia trip, which we really enjoyed. A highlight was the hotel in Palma Del Rio. It’s a converted monastery, with courtyards, gardens and a marvellous swimming pool. The restaurant is in the old refectory, and you feel like you’ve been taken back in time. They weren’t officially open for lunch when we arrived, but offered us a meal then, and that evening we had a very fine meal - with the room practically to ourselves. They even put a candle on the dessert for the birthday person in our party. Our room was a suite in a corner of the main patio (courtyard).
The town was also a pleasure. Not overrun with tourists, and with only a few must-see historic highlights, it was for us a place to experience something closer to the real Spain than you get in other more famous towns and cities. Our second night we happened on an impromptu guitar concert and singalong in the restaurant we went to for dinner, and when we were walking down the street back to the hotel my wife and I were invited into a birthday party just so everyone could try out their English on us. It was all completely spontaneous, and really hit the heart of why we love to travel.

4 of us completed the 8 day Normandy bike trip and were thrilled with every aspect of the tour. Randonnee prepared us before the trip with detailed itineraries, preparation suggestions and route maps to download so there was no need to use data. The accomodations were diverse and lovely, and in perfect locations to explore our surroundings. The Normandy area is filled with WW1 & WW 2 history and the route we followed covered so many highlights. The bikes were great for all of us, 2 ebikes and 2 hybrids to meet our needs. We would certainly choose Randonnee again for a cycle trip.

Have taken a number of trips with Robbin and the Randonee team…great guides, good routes, self guided hiking trips to Tour du Mont Blanc, Douro Valley and Costa Brava were well routed and all reasonably priced (for this industry where costs can get crazy fast).

My husband and I have enjoyed two self guided hiking trips with Randonnée in the last two years, one in the Dordogne Valley of France and then, this September, in Ireland. From start to finish, both trips were well organized and thought out with clear route instructions ( both print and electronic) and helpful area managers and guides to keep us on track! The accommodations are definitely a reason we used Randonnée a second time: every spot we have stayed has been awesome - charming, and authentic. Our biggest shout out goes to the Randonnée staff who are always available to answer your questions while preparing for the trip.
We would definitely use Randonnée again.

This was our second trip with Randonnee Tours, and it was another five-star experience! We had always heard that the San Juan Islands are a dream destination for cycling. We found they truly were--incredible riding, beautiful scenery, delicious food, wonderful inns/hotels, kind people. The trip was truly a fairytale. The riding was excellent, the transfers all worked out, and having the proposed routes, the accommodations booked, and the support of Randonnee along the way, while still traveling on our own, was the perfect combination. Riding along little traveled roads with sun dappling through the pine trees, spotting humpback whales off San Juan Island, seeing snow-capped peaks in the distance, relishing the late summer light and sunsets, savoring incredible sea- and farm-to-table restaurants, the whole week was memorable, restorative, and a celebration of all that we love. Highly recommend!

Our Alsace, France self guided bike tour by Randonee was a mixed bag. I would not use them for future bike tours. They did not deliver what they advertise. They advertise garmin files for all the rides, which is partially true. There were 2 out of 5 files that our group was unable to load onto our garmin devices. Randonee’s response was to use our phones. There were no water bottle holders or bike storage on the bikes as advertised. The local trip manager was essentially not available so we were on our own and one of our groups luggage was not transferred on the first night. The first hotel we stayed at had a party with music so loud the floors were vibrating and this went on until late in the night. I gave this feedback to Randonee and they said oops we are having trouble with the Alsace tour. Not a very satisfying response.
