I love going to the water workout. The lifeguards and instructors are great. The only thing is the water is so cold as well as the change rooms. I think if the water was warmer there maybe more people that would come and stay with the workouts.

We visited Red Deer and decided to come to the recreation center to swim. The facility has a hot tub, indoor pool, outside pool and an outdoor baby pool with a small water park feature. The woman's change room is mostly clean but there is some hair here and there. The family pass is 12.99 which is quite reasonable. You can still swim with your stuff placed on a bench in the eyes view in the outdoor pool which is nice. Some of the shallow parts of the pool have brownish stains but after all the pool is clean and fun with diving boards and different pool toys.

I've had a membership for over 5 yrs..Was at the rec center again at 2pm .Hot tub was barely warm..everyone complaining about it..I used the steam for 10 Mins then left the facility.This has been an on going problem..why is the hot tub water not changed the night before or early morning on a Sunday.cause it was not up to par and I wasted my time going there,and it was very disappointing.. I might cancel my mbership if nothing changes

Some of the diving board rules are ridiculous, I always used to gainer (run forward and lean back) until randomly I get warned by lifeguards, so then I side flip, still get told No. I never knew these exsited and I know how to without getting hurt. Also its always overcrowded, the hot tub always has a 4+ line up. I go to calgary to practice flips instead.

I absolutely love the local recreation center! The staff here is always friendly and incredibly helpful, making every visit a pleasure. The center is fine. But the older lady of Asian descent is very rude every time. People come here to try to enjoy themselves, not be talked to in an uncivilized manner.

There are people who will complain, but this facility is just right for me. I would say this pool is more suitable for adults, without any accommodations needed. The pool is often unavailable, but I mostly go for the steam room. Children can be out of control, but they are just having fun. The lifeguards are very nice, just young and learning.

Small gym, but pretty much everything you would need, unless you're a seasoned gym rat. I've never seen it busy, so that is nice. Clean, local radio music in background. Helpful staff at reception.
